You are going to get lots of practice cleaning that radiator. You can try to close any gaps between the intercooler and radiator with adhesive foam tape or something, but they will still get stuck in there. Maybe some screen mesh or something?

Let's concentrate on the 2011 right now. The 2010 looks like it'll get injectors under warranty. That'll solve a lot of it, especially if the ITV and exhaust brake are adjusted at the same time. Connect Hino Bowie. This is gonna be hard, I haven't used Hino Bowie in over a year. Connect to...

You're just gonna need to call me, because I'm going to have to write the Hino version of the Iliad to explain what to do. When do you plan on working on it next?

Buckeyes Riot Burn Destroy Property, Not A Thug In Sight

I have nothing to add to this discussion except this: I really, really hate football.

Burner stuff, continued. There's a really large braided line there too. Impossible to miss. The thing that it screws into at the top is the CAV, or combustion air valve. This gets air from the turbo and provides fresh air to the burner. Oil from the intake tract gets in it and swells the...

This makes a lot more sense. This code is a generic BURNER malfunction code. This code is what the engine ECU spits out when the BCU requests a check engine light. No generic scan tool will access the BCU. Troubleshooting this without the dealer software is difficult, if not impossible...

If the new filter was spun on without being filled, the momentary loss of pressure can cause funky codes. This is probably what caused it, and if so, there's no reason to worry.

Is it possible that the batteries are in backward? I was looking at the wiring diagram and some stuff should still work if the polarity was reversed. The cables closest to the frame are positive, and the outermost ones are negative.

Does 12v exist at any of the wires going to the ignition switch? The black/blue wire should be hot all the time. If not, check the STA SW fuse in the cab fuse panel. Is there 12v at each leg of the fuse? Don't remove the fuse, instead use a test light to probe the two tiny exposed metal bits...

Have you recently had the pan off and the internal filter replaced? P0756 is a code for stuck shift solenoid b, P0757 is for another solenoid (C?). There are two pans available, a deep and a shallow. The filters are different. If a shallow filter goes into a deep pan, it'll eventually fall...

You'll want a hand wrestling the intercooler out, but it's not difficult.

Hi there, Over here in the states, all of the conventional trucks have the tendency to collect an enormous amount of debris on the radiator, but only over the areas you can't see. Seriously, if the air conditioning condensor is moved aside and the intercooler removed, sometimes you'll be...

Yes, If you have access, definitely use it. The ABS and TCU communicate on the low speed data bus which uses the 9-pin connector.

Sure, send me the quote. I meant to ask about injector warranty earlier. We always check and we always do it under warranty if possible. On the 2007, does the ABS light come on, followed by the check trans light a little while later? An active ABS fault will unlock the torque converter. It...

Did you check the fuse box on the outside of the truck? It's probably to the rear of the battery box. There are some high current fuses in there. Sounds like you popped one. A quick heads up: A couple of these bolt into place. They look like they should unplug, but they don't. You'll have...

Do the itv. Have them modify the new one. Ask them to graph the scv test and email you the picture. Post it here. Alternately, ask them to open a case with tech assist, have them graph the scv test and get their opinion. You don't need cups unless there's evidence of leakage, or if they are...

P2002 will not affect drivability unless the differential pressure across the DPF gets enormous. Then it might get a little sluggish. Eventually the DPF outlet blows out, destroying it, but the truck continues to run fine. It'll continue to set the check engine light because it'll recognize...
