    Canada Question for Canadians

They're CRA now lol...yes federal, for all intents and purposes Ontario seems to only take a percentage of federal...the last advice I got from a CPA has them making up their own numbers and garnishing my gross pay...I filled out a form wrong and they are not changing it

    Canada Question for Canadians

Americans can take a 54 cent per mile deduction (taxes), i've been told for Canadians in a commercial truck you can take ZERO. Any Canadians sucessfully done this? (I know this thread will probably be moved, but I'm hoping it will live long enough to get an answer) Thanks {leaving it here...

Low prices are killing this month!ppl bending over like crazy!

Guess I "found" a good one...10 years this year, 1st and only company I've ever tried Been so long i'd forgotten, paid a 2000 dollar fee for the guaranteed job when I got my alumnibunk E350 in 2006 the "guarantee" sounded good ...with down payment, lease payments, and buyout I ended...

Low prices are killing this month!ppl bending over like crazy!

Just wondering - guess I work for an "old fashioned" company because I know nothing about these bidding things...I only sat for 3 days this year when available, letting them pick loads for me...technically my contract doesn't forbid me from finding my own freight...When did this change happen? I...

Low prices are killing this month!ppl bending over like crazy!

Forgot to add: keep your old trucks till this settled out, just found out insurance is based on your purchase price here - saving 600 a month over what other drivers pay for 2 million liability...that and no monthly payments sure makes life easier...carriers that require 5 years or newer, don't...

Low prices are killing this month!ppl bending over like crazy!

I gave up worrying about rates in 2008. Had a dedicated run that got cut over 20 percent, and had to either accept it or quit. Cut my costs beyond what anybody would consider sane. Fast forward to now, I'm on the open road (route got undercut so far the carrier wasn't willing to accept it) I...

    05 Sprinter - Cab Sleeper?

Ever since my Ford E-350 Alumibunk I've gotten used to a 24" sleeper - the small size allowed me to sleep as cold as -44 F without supplemental heat or idling...and as hot as 103 F with a fantastic fan cut into the door blowing at my toes. Has anyone attempted putting a board over the seats and...
