It was an impressive 3 hour trip to come back with 2 filters and no oil...

Trying to be nice to my new aquisition, 2005 Sprinter and meet the MB specs...transmission fluid at the dealer is 31.41 a quart plus 13% HST...where do i get oil and trans fluid? Nothing off the shelf matches the spec sheets, I can get 228.31 for motor oil but its not on the list...too much crap...

If I got offered 1.50 I'd have a heart attack...take it or back of the line i go...

Seeing that gasket, it looks like this thing wrapped around the front of the transmission like somebody wanted to keep a spare or something? Weird

Talked at length with a transmission guy, speed sensors are supposed to drop to 0 in drive when not moving (duh!) I thought they were losing contact...he agrees with the common wisdom of connector first, if that doesn't work conductor plate...anybody following thread I was trained by Google :)...

Appears to be the hot water recirculation, I don't see exhaust or fuel line, it is behind the left headlight (edit: found a baby exhaust pipe in the front of fender WOOHOO espar!) I kind o got off topic, tested Tcm with scan tool, shifter works properly but speed sensors in transmission read 0...

I have to add the Autel Maxidas DS 708, accessed all my modules and allowed testing on my 2005...cleared all codes...I'll post on the iCarsoft MBII when I get my hands on one

Thanks, saved me the time to find it again...had some experience with the Autel Maxidas DS708 today, it indeed communicates with the 2005 canbus/eobd2 interface and clears all codes...would not fix my trans issue (problem exists immediately on turning key) but I tested shifter functions in real...

I know I need one, not sure whether it matters to get the cheap or good dipstick. Good to know they can be reliable - as for seats, I drove it home and didn't want to get back in my Ram Van, it's down to the metal on the drivers side :D

Hi and thanks for replying...I read somewhere that you could use actual expenses or a simplified per mile deduction, which if I was allowed to use it, would eliminate the need for me to organize receipts and calculate expenses. It would also in my case make a bigger return as each 100 percent...

Thank you...its 45 min away, got free storage and use of shop...was going by memory and it was a larger square on center console down low with digital readout flashing like an unset clock...It'd be awesome if I got a free diesel heater with that van :D
