Health Insurance for Expediters; What do You See?

And of course we can't have it as gloom and doom for all. Lot lizards can now embrace Obamacare. Sex workers embrace Obamacare - Nov. 1, 2013

    The affordable care act failure

I seen his speech or most of it from Boston......I couldn't stop laughing. It brought new meaning to "looks like lipstick on a pig".

Health Insurance for Expediters; What do You See?

No......those plans do not have to meet the Obamacare guidelines. In otherwords, if you are 60, and have a plan written on or before 2010, and haven't been cancelled by the carrier, you can keep that plan. Probably should add, most will call or refer to these as "grandfathered plans or...

Health Insurance for Expediters; What do You See?

Keep in mind that if you have a policy that was written in 2010 or before, you can keep that policy with no changes. That is assuming they didn't send you a cancellation policy. So......may not have to pretend you are broke afterall.

Health Insurance for Expediters; What do You See?

You are absolutely correct. Our family operates a medical clinic here in TN. As it sits right now, only 44 percent of doctors are accepting medicare patients. That number will slide as they keep adding regulations and dropping the payment for services. One may have government insurance, but that...

    An empty suit

I do agree with this first paragraph. I don't get or have an interest in his racial profile whether good or bad. It may or may not guide how he does things but what I see is nothing but a typical career Chicago politician.

And the government certainly profits from it. Who do you think is keeping those fines/penalty? I do agree that one of the benefits of Obmacare is the pre-existing component and carriers can't just drop you. However, that could have been done without Obamacare. Again though, just moving money...

That would be my opinion. It is a matter of whether to run another axle and all those associated costs.

Health Insurance for Expediters; What do You See?

I wouldn't necessarily call them "death panels" but you are correct, the hard right refers to them as such. Kind of like the democrats portraying the right pushing granny off the cliff in a wheelchair.

Health Insurance for Expediters; What do You See?

I said "death panels was a harsh word" but lets not kid each other. The commitees are already in place to determine what proceedures and at what age they will or won't perform something. These people are bean counters rather than physicians. This is specifically for the people in the medicare...

Health Insurance for Expediters; What do You See?

It would be hard to quantify an answer without knowing what "screwed by the insurance companies" means. Does it mean coverage not provided that wasn't paid for? Or...people kicked off a policy when they got sick? Could mean alot of things. Will government intervention change that. Not really...

Best straight truck on the market?

Most of it is a mixed bag. Petes and Kenworths have higher resale, more durable, and better service network. Volvos are light on service and have a heavy front end for straight truck applications. Freightliners are cheaper and have a larger cab which teams like. They do have many service...

    the muti carrier driver push

The information is likely coming from a carrier. Shelley did a great article addressing some of the liability problems with the multis. Just a matter of how much exposure a carrier wants. Case in point, I am aware of a wreck involving a multi that had shipments on from two different carriers...
