My start to finish in expediting

You hit the right answer. If you have kids at home, expediting is not for you.

    How do teams get paid?

I can do 40 percent on a paid for truck for a solo (currently have one) but I would not recommend doing it with a truck that has payments. Rather than trade it in when the new one arrived we put a solo in this particular truck. Same solo is it in it four years later. Go figure.

    Hope for Youth?

I don't think anyone wants to deny benefits to the elderly, disabled or the sick. Same thing if someone is drawing unemployment. They pay in to that program they should be able to draw those benefits. Same with welfare. Bad things happen to good people, but I would say after three years of...

How Expediting has changed from 20 years ago.

Probably thinking mid to late 80's. I think back then Ameritech (early 90's) ran the first service but it didn't provide service everywhere. The answer I guess was using QC and a pager system.

How Expediting has changed from 20 years ago.

Very true and in the early days the carrier paid for them.

How Expediting has changed from 20 years ago.

"Everything has changed but the rates" Actually quite a lot of truth in that. It has become much more competitive thanks to technology. The old veil of secrecy has been lifted. Some were quick to change and some still haven't figured it out. Probably also contributed to the camaraderie you had...

    CARB may loosen rules

They didn't count the reefers so I am just wondering if it is just the possibility of a toilet paper shortage they are worried about?

    You can keep your plan

I guess at this point it depends on whether they let people keep existing plans. That would be good in your situation. Bad news for Obamacare as that wrinkles the fabric of the whole plan.

    You can keep your plan

That isn't good if you can't use the coverage. Sadly, that will be the case for many. Anything we spend goes towards the deductible. We use the HSA for that. But there is no co-pay or anything like that. As for prescriptions, under ACA, I think some are covered if they are preventive. Ours...

    You can keep your plan

The old plans from Humana which we are on aren't available now because of Obomercare. We have a good plan with one caveat. Ours carries a high deductible but that is ok for us as we use a HSA with this plan so no pain with the deductible.

    You can keep your plan

Not really sure where that difference is compared to what we have. Although we don't have Blue Cross. It is Humana. We have to have a multi-state policy because of living in TN and FL.

    You can keep your plan

Like everyone, we got older and the rate did increase so it must be something in the policy?

    You can keep your plan

It doesn't have to have that if you had the policy prior to 2010 and they didn't change anything. Most changed something in their policy and have to insure according to ACA. That is why they are cancelling those types of policies. Our carrier said ours was "grandfathered" in.
