Thanks Murray. Also it's being in the right place at the right time that helps a lot.

    January 2015

Just calculated my numbers for last year and was very surprised at the outcome. They are as follows: 10,000 less miles driven than last year and over $12k+ gross more than previous year with being in service 62.7% of the time. All miles driven (including dh and all miles when not in service)...

Yea but they will expect you to do it over and over again without much sleep. Not very safety minded.

    Canada Canadian newb

Not very safety minded. They will run you into the ground and expect you to do another load with little as sleep as possible and I'm not talking short runs either. Usually Mi to Laredo or Canada to Laredo and then a return trip back to north. Not good my book.

    New

With only one good week left to make any serious money and then the winter lull, now is not the time to get started unless you have thousands of dollars laying around just wanting to be spent while you wait for March to show up. Seriously running a cargo van for an owner there isn't much left...

    Freight pictures

I didn't take pictures of it but I took 28 large computer disks from a building in Cincinnati and took it to a warehouse type storage place in Tulsa. Was followed by an escort and was given a two way radio. Every time I wanted or need to stop he stopped and he butted his car right up to my...

    Leased on

This works both ways. The small fleet owner is looking for a driver. In their search for a driver the company may give their name and number to an interested party and help them out.
