    The Big Lie

The whole premise of the post is carriers that own equipment screw over their contractors. That's it in a nutshell! Being we have a similar business model the whole thing is just rediculous!

    LRT Expedite closes it's doors.

We have been burned so many times by carriers that use shared trucks, I'm sure many others have too hence the reluctance for some companies to use carriers that utilize this business model. That being said not all carriers provide a bad service that do this. Just makes a little extra work on...

    "LATE" delivery?

As long as you inform your carrier the second you think you MAY be late for a pick up or delivery you will be ok. More advanced notice prior to your protect the better! Also do the math after you load at a shipper (miles div by 50 mph) to insure you can meet the delivery time as dispatched on...

The Effervescent Joy of Expedite CEO's

There may be some carriers that haul for less then we pay our ops, but you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a good wage and know it gets there. There are A lot of carriers, but few provide good service. Point being as John and Charles said, it's not about making big money to broker a load...
