Got a load to Denver and did the same thing I ALWAYS do here. Forget that I'm 5000 feet above sea level, pound the toothpaste to the top of my neat squeeze container, open, toothpaste everywhere.

Oh I forgot. The first time I did it. It was with my iPhone and couldn't get it to work. So I did it with my laptop. And everything was fine. That might be your problem.

Ya you might want to call again. Mine wasn't blank. I was able to read the whole contract as I electronically signed. I won't sign anything without being able to read it. Who do they think we are, congress with a health care bill

Nice to see I'm not the only one. Sometimes I think it's because are detention is to weak. When I was a truck driver detention was 40 bucks. So we never had late pick ups. But detention at 15, don't think it's enough to make the shipper care.
That's funny when I first started. The exact same thing happened to me, and I called them to try to work with them and I got the identical response. Of course they had to scramble at the last minute to find another driver.
Panther now is much less likely to swap. 3 weeks ago I had a 1200 miler...
When ever I get one of these pick ups between 10pm to 1am there ALWAYS late. I'm not talking 15 minutes late but like 2 to 3 hours late every time. It screws up my hole schedule. That's it. This is the last late night run I'm doing, it just not worth the aggravation.
This is the east bound service plaza west of Cleveland before the I 80/90 fork. Almost every car spot was taken. I've never seen it like this. Something is definitely happening east of here.
No way a solo can do 6000 miles a week. A team can do it. But that's pretty much keeping the truck rolling 24/7. Don't sound like conservative numbers to me
Your job options are also pretty limited right now. I've talked to a few that left expediting. Only to come back because they couldn't find a job. I'll tell you one thing if they raise minimum wage to 15 bucks and it works. I'm totally gone.
One of the things I liked about Bolt Express, when I worked their was. They have bobtail plug ins out in the parking lot. So you can just plug in instead of using the geny when you stayed there.
