Hi, everybody just bought a new fancy transit van. One thing don't like is when every it's in reverse it makes a loud beeping noise. Any body out there figure out how to turn it off or where the speaker is for it. Until I figure it out sorry everybody for waking you up in the truck stops

Drove a semi for Millis for 2 years loved the lifestyle hated the all the regulations, no where to park, and forced dispatch. Always saw the the vans in the truck stops. Seemed like the logical choice.

I used to work for bolt. The thing that they did that would piss me off is wake me up at 8am for a 700 mile load that would pick up at 4pm deliver direct. Great now that I'm up at 8am I'm sure I'll be super tired at the end of this delivery

I looked at buying a new truck. But now there so expensive there selling them with 7 year loans. Which in this business means you need to be making double payments. Just to much I'm going just try to keep the one I got as long as I can.

Well I guess everybody must be as confused as I am over this. I wonder if Panther is aware that they are habitually asking there drivers a question that none of them understand.

"Do you want me to make you aware." This is question that is asked a lot by dispatchers, and it has always puzzled me. What happens is a dispatcher will call you telling you that they have sent you a load. And they go on to tell you, it picks up here, it delivers there, these are the loaded...

That's why I turn my phone off when I'm on a load. I got tried of of getting woke up 3 hrs into my 5 hour break. With my carrier saying "your fine on time, we were just curious when you were planning on leaving." That's of course after I've been up 20 hours before my break.

Had a sweet load from las vegas to Nashville, 1800 miles. Delivered Friday morning. I was smart enough to get here before the rain turned to snow. But I made the mistake of trying to get to a Walmart 3 miles away. Impossible stuck cars and wrecks everywhere. Ended up in some college parking lot...

I've been using a space heater and a Honda 2000 for 5 years. The trick is insulation. I have a 700/1500 watt space heater. Even at zero degrees I only use the 700 setting. You will go through 2 gallons in 12 hours though. So and external tank is needed.

In the old days all the FedEx vans would have a big colored Fedex logo. I worked as contractor for them in the nineties and I had to have one on my truck. But in the last couple of years I've notice most just have there numbers on the side. Anyone know why?
