It would be very nice for vans to go back to the percentage pay, instead of miles. Between the first of the year and end of August when I went in a tractor trailer I made half the money I made last year in the same period. I know the economy is worse this year than last, but not quite that bad.

Believe it or not, I got one of my best van loads out of little rock. Nobody likes to sit there, but I have never sat more than a day and I got out with good loads. Oh, sorry, one time I sat more than a day. Delivered on Friday, and Sunday I got one to South Carolina.

'E' life is generally good, however I miss the freedom of my 'B' life. In an E unit you are basically stuck in truck stops, no more parks, museums, stores, etc.

Very few girls are interested in 'truckers'. Haven't found one yet, but I think I am on the right track.

I used to have a piece of paper with the instructions on how to get online and see my T-Chek balance and activity, but I wasn't successful. Now I lost even that piece of paper. Can someone explain to me how to sign up? Links to a tutorial or something. Thanks.

Jack, When my EGR valve went it wasn't dirty all that much, and it was moving freely. No amount of cleaning fixed it. As soon as I plugged a new one in, my van went out of limp home mode. The check engine light went out after a couple of days. I suspect there was an electrical problem with mine.

Another thing I forgot to mention, I am sooooo thankful to be debt free. You don't know it until you experience it. Even the grass feels better under your feet when you are debt free (I like to walk a lot barefoot.)

OVM, hope you took care of the health problem. Cannot play with that.
