Starting the month and year early? Anxious?

Sometimes the computer forgets to call you back even when you are available on the phone and you got an opportunity on the phone and accepted it. Last week I accepted a load opportunity and never heard back. It happened that 15 min later I went online and saw that I was on the load.

I am in a cargo van, and for 2009 there were few weeks that I netted $600. There were some that I only grossed $200, some I grossed $300, though. Works allright if you don't have truck payments and car payments and credit cards. If you have all that, then look elsewhere for work.

Good question. I will put everything in the spreadsheet and then report back. It will not be today though.

Agree, many loads I turned down just because it was too much deadhead. Some of them they told me they NEED to be covered because of a major customer. I was very sorry, but could not do it.

I don't see what the fuss is about the directions. In my whole time as an expediters I have used the directions a dozen times. I don't care about those directions, they can take them out all together as far as I am concerned, heck, take the whole qualcomm out, see if I care. I am more concerned...

Ha. I don't get excited even if I get the call 'you have been dispatched......blah blah' because I had so many loads cancel on me that is not even funny. Bad part is that I am on my way to pick the load, drive 20 miles, then I only get paid for 6, because that is what their computer shows. So...

Just like guido, I spent Christmas with my sweetheart in the beautiful north North Carolina. Very interesting since we were snowed in, or better said, snowed out. Couldn't get in or out of the driveway because of the snow and freezing rain, so I had to park at the road and walk in a foot of snow...

Not me, next week there is time for at least one more load, than one more the following week, then I am done for the year.
