Looking for a list of reputable cargo van expediting companies

If you ever have seen Long horn cattle or Scottish Highlanders going through a alley. They will lower & turn their head and get a horn between the cross member, then lower & turn for the other horn. I would think a Unicorn would just slip the horn out the open top sides of a stock trailer.;)

    Ryder used Sprinters

Ryder has a rep for taking care of their trucks. There's no money in a rental truck sitting on the side of the road.

Wouldn't it make sense to ask a Continental dealer what the manufacture of the tires and the truck manufacture recommends?.

Could be one of the most Expensive Hunting trips ever.

I have no doubt there are responsible hunters. Last winter. There is a older widow lady on the West side of my property. A Sunday night late I hear a shot, loud close to the house. Monday morning I get a call "Mr, Chaffey could you come over here." Her drive is up hill towards her home. In the...

Mercedes Benz Diesel's in a Straight Truck

Apparently I'm not being clear in my question. I have no doubt that Mercedes engines are reliable. My question is can most Diesel shops work on them the same as a American product.

Mercedes Benz Diesel's in a Straight Truck

With all the comments about the maintenance regarding Sprinters. Is there a major difference also in the larger engines in a Straight truck. In regards to a USA manufactured engine?. I would think that most shops are familiar with Cat, Detroit Diesel, Cummings.

    What would you do?

P.S. A couple of years ago there was a member on here who bragged he drove 90 mph on a regular basis in a cargo van. As I remember all who responded said they hoped not to be on the same road way with him.

    What would you do?

What's done is done. Couldn't you have looked at the time he left with a load and the time he arrived. Check the miles against the time to figure out his average speed?. He's either speeding or making a ton of pit stops on the way and speeding to make up the difference.

Panhandler...to give or not to give, that's the question.

I was in one of the dozens of Wal Marts in Springfield MO a couple of weeks ago. A young couple which seemed to be quite fit were sitting on the curb with a sign " we need a little help". It occurred to me they could go inside, sit at the computer and probably be working the warehouse that night.

Driving solo straight truck for fleet owner

Mr. Mueller, in post #9 you say $14,000 gross for thirty days. Would you mind posting how many paid miles\dead head were in the thirty days quoted. The reason I ask is I keep vacillating between a good used Straight & a Ford cargomaxx. thanks

    Yellow penske trucks

If you want to see some wacky drivers, go into any small Missouri town. Where the town square is one way where you keep turning left. 99% of the time the drivers will be in the extreme right side of the square turning left as if they had a 80 foot trailer behind them.
