    2006 hino 185 with p0268 scv malfunction

I wouldn't trust the troubleshooting 100%. Verify that you're on the right pins. I would load test the wiring vs. a continuity check. Multimeters lie. It's saying you're looking for a pulse wave of 0-12v. The SCV is pulse width modulated. Ideally you'd use an oscilloscope.

    2014 Hino 338 a few issues

Coalminer is exactly right. I'd like to add that the low coolant level alarm is probably not related. There are plenty of reasons why the low coolant alarm can go off. Here are some examples. They are prone to leak at hose connections when it's cold. Especially the hose clamp on the coolant...

Hino 268 preheating malfunction light on the dash

They are on the left side of the engine, top of the cylinder head, among the fuel lines. Two up front and two in the back.

2007 Hino 268 -- Check Engine Light / Limp.... no codes read?

It should, yes. That's the big mystery here. I would want confirmation that it's set a P0045 before committing to turbo replacement.

Hino 338 will not automatic regen

Awesome. 2015-later trucks have far fewer regen problems, thankfully this one was easy to sort out.

If it was driven for any period of time with no oil pressure you might want to check a few bearings while you're in there

    Hino 268 crank no start

Sure thing. Curious, which port did you have jpro hooked to? To access the engine ECU you use the 16 pin connector.

2007 Hino 268 -- Check Engine Light / Limp.... no codes read?

You cannot access the engine ECU from the 9 pin. Use the 16 pin.

2007 Hino 268 -- Check Engine Light / Limp.... no codes read?

They are right about the ignition and key, there are no security system components. Super weird problem you have here. Do you have a gps or eld or anything like that wired up? Water in the firewall junction box can cause havoc. 2007s have bolt on covers, but water can still get in from...

    Hino 268 crank no start

Chances are good that the ECU isn't powering up, or there are communication errors. The Junction box on the firewall behind the air filter is prone to water intrusion. Might want to open that up, disconnect everything, and inspect for water or corrosion. Might want to check the CAN physical...

    Hino 268 crank no start

Is ENG ECU main 2 fuse in place and good? That's ECU memory, and when you key on the ECU grounds the Engine ECU main relay, providing power to the ecu and turning it on. Without this power source, the ECU won't do anything.

    Hino 268 crank no start

That's pretty interesting. With Jpro connected, can you go into the engine ecu and command things like the EGR, VNT, ITV? Can you view live data? Just for the hell of it, disconnect the pressure sensors on the air tanks and see if the cluster starts working correctly.

Hino 338 will not automatic regen

What scan tool are you using? With DXII, you can go into engine customization and change the soot amount. Change it to something like 2.3 and it'll put the DPR graph to three bars, which is when it will attempt an automatic regen. Then you can look at temps and stuff during a driving regen...

    2012 hino 258 p244 code

I'm assuming you're referring to P244B, which sets when the DPR graph reaches ten bars. Is it at ten bars? Did you pull this code out of the dash? The reason this set is there's a burner issue, or its cries for a manual regen were ignored. BCU codes cannot be read from the dash. There's a...

    ATC Codes for deterioration

I haven't personally learned the patterns of ATC failure yet. So far it seems sort of random. There's a TSB on this, too (your dealership should know this. The TSB says "Got a P0421? Replace ATC".)The TSB lists all the hardware and gaskets and stuff they recommend replacing, but it's not...

    ATC Codes for deterioration

The cure for P0421 is to replace the ATC. Expect the upper temp sensor to fight you on the way out. This is a fairly common problem, IDK why your dealer is confused.

Inspect that big wire harness that comes out of the junction box up front. If that gets whacked it can cause myriad weird electrical problems.

    2018 Hino 155 Heater Core

It comes out from the inside. When I'm on a roll it takes me about 5 hours. Also, there's no published procedure. I doubt there is an aftermarket alternative. I don't know the price. There's a long metal bar that runs the width of the dash. That has to come out. Remove steering column...
