Hino 268 year 2012 water coolant out

In my experience, most of the problems with this sensor are caused by people, in one way or the other, or by shredded belts.

Hino 268 year 2012 water coolant out

It's on the right (passengers side) of the engine, towards the front, right under where the coolant hoses connect.

    2012 Hino 268 starting issues

The OP never replied, so I don't know what happened. Describe what your truck has been doing. What have you checked?

    Transmission computer not connecting

To connect to the engine ECU, VCS, BCU or DCU, you'd connect your scan tool to the 16 pin diagnostic connector. To connect to the TCM or ABS, you'd connect to the 9 pin connector. If it still won't connect, your mechanic should check the TCM connector for battery power, ignition power, grounds...

What Do Truckers think of Electric Truck Tractors (Such as the Tesla Semi or Freightliner EM2?)

I'm down in Tampa for a Cummins training class and I rented a Tesla. I expect a lot of funny looks this week.

    binding steering

You'll need to plump a gauge into the steering box inlet and see what the pressure is when it's working normal and when it's not. If the pressure is consistent I'd blame either the box or something binding up front, like kingpins.

    Attention: very extended warranty coverage

Hino is covering several different parts under warranty on many trucks. NOx sensors, def tank sensors, DPFs (and engine fuel injectors if they caused the DPF to fail) pm sensors and def injectors. Maybe turbos on the cabovers too. The dealer has to do an assessment and make a report for some of...

    2015 Hino 195 - DPR gauge

Is the check engine light on? The most likely culprit is the fuel addition injector in the exhaust pipe just downstream of the turbo. Its housing also gets completely packed full of soot. That housing has to come off to clean it. It's recommended to have this cleaned out every 75k.

    Hino hood bandaid

Yes this will work. This thread is like 7 years old. The few 08-10 trucks that I still see with the hood mod have had no further hood issues. Build it substantially. .

    16 Hino lack of power

There is something wrong with one of the brake switches. The two switches have to sync before the ECU allows any real power. Like one is wired backwards or something. Or the wrong parts installed. When did this problem start?

2013 268 - ABS Light On and Truck wont go into Overdrive

That bulletin also applies to your truck. I've found that snipping a single wire in the junction box accomplishes the same thing. This is not a Hino-endorsed method, btw. Basically there's an output on the ABS ECU for turning on the ABS light. The TCM is also connected to that circuit. You...

    Weird symptoms on Hino358

The fuel system has several places that can trap debris, like the fittings going into the fuel filter and even the elbows coming out of the tank. Start at the filter, pull the fittings out of the filter inlet and give everything a good look.

    Exhaust leak Hino 258

Since you have DX, I'd do a def solution addition test. You'll do this through the DCU. Remove the def injector (leaving all the lines connected) and put it into a graduated container like a paint mixing cup. There are three steps to the test. DX tells you the proper volumes . Then do the leak...

    Hino 268 losing power

The first thing I'd check is the adjustment of the brake pedal switch. Hinos have two brake switches that must correlate before the engine ECU allows any meaningful acceleration. The one on the back of the pedal near the steering column is the usual offender. The plunger on the switch needs...

What is this part hino 338

The square thing in the back is the air compressor. I guess you could call it the air compressor coolant pipe. These rarely give a problem unless their clamps are missing, or if the compressor is loose.
