Was at the Walmart in Dyersburg, Tn. this morning, saw a RED Panther II van in the parking lot with a windshield shade up...probably trying to catch some zzzs before it got too hot...anybody here?

I was just today speaking with someone about this sort of thing....they said, if your truck GVW is 10K or less and your total with trailer is 26K or less you shouldn't have to worry about following DOT regs...but then, your contract may say different.

I see that most require a van that is no older than 5 years....what happens if you have a 2000 model and sign up with a company...that van will be too old next year, are you required to update then or are you grandfathered....

Thanks for the info, I know that I would be running all over and for a couple of weeks at a time, was just wondering if there were many loads coming through my area(I55-Hwy 51-I155)so that I could drop by home without to many DH miles...thanks again!
Been reading the forums for a couple of weeks, seems like most of the business is in the Ohio Valley...though everytime I head up I55 in Mo I see quite a few expediters...looking to maybe start driving for an O/O Van or "C" but was wondering if there is a need in my area...thanks in advance...
