I seen an article that exports are UP to Iran since Obama took power...interesting....
Greg you and your Arab friends are full of BS!!! You believe them because it suits your political beliefs...
WTF OVM, the facts are facts, not contrive notions that are created to sway the masses to suit any political belief or agenda.
I am not the one living in the world of make believe like some of these people who want to believe in a utopia of middle east peace and tranquility. They are so enamored with a self-proclaimed deity that they forget common sense and fail to open their minds. The fight for the small minded has been won by the propagandist who set out to control them.
Those of small minds only blame the few for the messes that took thousands of years to create by looking through rose colored glasses that were created to sway people away from the truth in the first place. Just take Carter for a moment, all he has done is side with a group that wants to destroy everything the west stands for and people come to his defense and the defense of the groups he supports because they think they are the enlighten of the country or want to be part of that.
My friends seem to better equipped to judge and explain events over there seeing most of them are from over there and seem to think on terms that are equal to the people actually living and participating in the events. It is easy to dismiss them from posts in forums, we don't yet live in a world managed by religion or some dictator and when we do, most will not get what they failed to see what these people have been saying to us.
OVM, history hasn't changed, the people revise it to fit an agenda - the Iraq war and formation of a government in record time stands as a perfect example of a revised history from a misplaced press and the hollywood types. There is no objectivity or intellectual honesty within these groups who say we failed or those parrot them when they ignore facts of what was and what has happened in order to make it fit a specific agenda. Most of the progress in Iraq is honestly ignored, most of the idiots who parrot the talking points don't get what happen in their life time is close to a miracle but they only see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear.
The really sad part is the ignorance of the people who can't come to grips with one simple fact that there are reasons we are involved in some parts of the world that go way beyond what they can comprehend. They live in their little MTV world, playing their little mind numbing games while being entertained with some show that shows the some pathetic 'star' crashing and burning. This in turn causes them to grasp onto anything that they feel provides some solace to their worthless intellect in their limited world. They grasp for information from sources that only provide opinion and explain what they should think and feel because objective reporting is no longer the norm with the press at large. They mock the very people who stand and deliver to protect them and they mock their missions as nothing more than a power grab to enslave a people. They cast aside the doubt and reality to believe that a poll is accurate measurement of a distant culture and beliefs that culture holds.
The same goes for the
protester and their ideals of helping by being vocal but fail to stand by the people who actually face the cr*p in the first place - hypocrite comes to mind.
Doug, sorry for the typos. If you focused on them, well it means you didn't get what I said. It was a sarcastic reply to nonsensical ramblings of your posts.
For the record, I have no guilt at all but I didn't see do anything outside of cutting and pasting to prove any attempt to become educated. To be exact you are the one who should fell guilty because you don't want to move off your butt and go learn, expand your knowledge to see whether we are right or wrong. I talked about you and Andy this morning over coffee and some really good food and everyone got a good laugh off both of your misplaced energies and your ramblings.
