I make it a point to never make a personal attack on any member regardless of his posts or views. This thread may cause me to come down from my ivory tower. A troll does not belong on this site and I regard this thread as trolling behavior. I'm not a moderator but if I was you would be busted, busted, busted. Dissagree with any post you want in an appropriate manner. Don't check in your brains and your manners when you enter here. Regardless of your views your way of airing them is disgusting. You want your rights but you have no regard for the rights of others. THere I said it. Shame on me.

There really is no place on this Site for the petty nastiness & name calling going on here. If a person cannot agree or disagree with out being small minded & rude they should leave or be sat down for a month or so. That is my opinion only by the way. Also I believe it is a Federal Crime to make a Threat against a sitting President, even in jest. I have no idea on what applies to a Canidate.

The problem is the liberals have nothing to stand on. Obama is so far off base he's not even on the same playing field. Since the messiah's plan is totally impossible when analyzed and since it's cornerstone is a total lie they have to resort to distraction and deflection, just like the magician does with the beautiful women. They don't want you looking where you'll see they are a total fake pulling something over on you.

Thanx for everyone's support who saw this for what it was... a dream. A fantasy. A bit of fiction. I doubt the Secret Service will be coming to get me for something I wish would've happened 10 years ago. If they do, they are as petty as the far left worms posting from their abodes in their mothers' basements.

Doug... If you're taking over for our resident leftist, Tallcal, I hope you take a few lessons from his postings. He is as liberal as they come, with the exception that he knows how to take a post tongue-in-cheek and run with it. It keeps the soapbox refreshing that not everyone is tooting the same horn. Instead, you take a post, blow it out of proportion complain about mods, call ppl names, and hide behind the screen while doing it. You plaster your drivel while stating you won't respond to ppl who voted for Bush twice. You're an 'I'm taking my ball and going home' kinda guy. The only problem is you have no balls. Doug, I said in another thread that you remind me of myself when i was young and full of myself. Always needing to be roght, going out of my way to make my point and prove it to others. It too took me a while to growup. Hell there are days when i revert back, but all in all, i can see you for what you are, a punk that feels the need to control and make sure everybody knows who you are and where you think you stand.

I think the problem arose when I posted/plastered your drivel about murdering a presidential candidate. OK you were kidding/fantasizing. We've had presidents and candidates Murdered /wounded before. I don't find it funny. People want to back up your posts thats fine. I believe I said if you voted for W. twice you are the problem, and I stand by that statment. If you did that your opinions are seriously flawed in my opinion.

Kick back, collect your welfare, and applaud as the country crumbles around your basement. Then tell yourself you were right, and laugh all the way to the bank with money you didn't earn. At the same time, ask yourself why the rats in your basement will be your only friends... the rats in your basement, and Obama. Honestly, I don't see a difference in the two... other than Obama has no interest in your Cheez Whiz and crackers.

BTW... I didn't post that scenario because I hate Obama. I would've been just doing my duty for the country I love... even tho a good number of ppl here wouldn't deserve it, because they don't know how good they really have it living here. Maybe Obama will make them see their error. But all of us will have to pay for it.

I believe and this is my belief, I am not saying it as fact. I believe his 1st post was his true feelings and now he is backtracking, but I am the one without balls.

The Internet in general, and the Soapbox in particular, is nothing more than the funny papers. Soon as you start taking it too seriously you're in trouble.

I don't always succeed, but I try, try, try my best to reply to what was written rather than to who wrote it. There are a lot of reasons for that. One, most times I really don't know who wrote it, and even if I do, there's still no guarantee that that's the actual person who was at the keyboard when it was posted. Another one is, responding to the text instead of responding to the person keeps personalities out of it, and it keeps from dragging personalities from one thread to another and then skewing the replies in one thread based on something totally unrelated in another thread. Things just work better. You can't have a free exchange ideas when people continually respond to the individuals rather than to the individual's ideas.

Like I said, sometimes its hard and I fail, but that's the goal.
