Hi Everyone, I just spent the past week in Orlando for my yearly Continuing Education requirements for my CIC designation...this is the class where Truck Insurance Specialists meet once per year to go over policy language, structuring Motor Carriers with their Owner Operators, and current law cases that are pending or have been resolved.  I was looking forward to some sunshine, but it rained the whole time (at least anytime I could be outside).  From what I understand, it rained everywhere else, too...so I shouldn't whine.

The class itself is always worthwhile, with much to report back to you.  I'll have a series of blogs starting next week on various subjects.

The reason for the delay is that I'm off again this week for various Driver Appreciation Day events and workshops.  (As you probably already know, this is National Truck Drivers Appreciation Week.)

John and I head out with our Hot Fudge Sundae Cart to offer free sundaes when a Motor Carrier hosts an event for their Owner Operators...it's a lot of fun for us to meet our clients in person and share stories.     We participate in a lot of these over the summer months, but keep your fingers crossed for me...the weather looks like it's dropping to the 60's...I might be making hot chocolate instead!

On this Driver Appreciation Week and every week...My personal thanks to all of you...Truckers Move America...and I appreciate your hard work.
