Hi Everyone...I feel like an Expediter lately...I'm never home.  This past weekend John and I were at the 1st Great Lakes Convoy for the Awareness, Prevention and Cure of Women's Cancers.  What a fun group!  Michelle Dunn and Jeanie Silk have had an impressive start for a worthwhile cause.  I enjoyed talking to the women about specific aspects in Expediting that are unique to females, and we look forward to next year's event.  Be sure to try to make it...it's a great time!

The week before was Truck Driver Appreciation week, so we drove around in our CIS Sprinter visiting various Expediting Companies, providing ice cream sundaes for Driver Appreciation Days, and finishing up with the Expediter Workshop.

If you've never had the opportunity to see "The Five Questions Every Potential Expediter should ask", I'd highly recommend it.  Phil and Diane Madsen offer an informative presentation that could give even the most experienced expediter new questions to consider.   As one of the most successful teams out there, Phil and Diane generously share their "Expediting Secrets" practically and graciously.

The week before I was in Orlando for my annual CIC continuing education of truck insurance.  I gathered a bunch of new info there and now that I'm home I'll have time to share some insight as to how it affects the Motor Carrier and Owner Operator in my next few blogs...talk with you soon!
