We Don’t Chain
The roads were snow covered and driving for conditions had plenty of traction. No problem making our delivery and, on the way, back to the nearest truck stop, the roads had been cleared. Then we got into the truck stop parking lot and what a mess. The rest areas, truck stop parking, and the customers parking lot seem to always be much worse than the roadways. Since we have added the Onspot chains we have used them the most often off of the roadways to keep from getting stuck or to get us unstuck.
Without our Onspot chains, I hate to think how often we would have had to either put down some kind of traction device or chain to get us out of a lot and back to the roadway that is clear.
I am still glad we don’t chain… we push a button and that takes care of our chaining problem.
