Right now, with Covid-19 it is easy to be negative, but how much better our day will be if we think of all of the good things we have in our lives.
Each day I am reminded that I have a great view outside of my windshield that changes. For the many that are staying at home, they have their four outer walls with windows and a never-changing view. We can move around, and in reality, our lives have not changed a lot as we are still picking up and delivering freight.
The truck and sleeper we have are comfortable with all most all of the comforts of home. Each truck we have had over the past twenty years we have made into our personal getaway. Over those twenty years, we have grown from an OEM sleeper to our now 120” custom ARI Legacy Sleeper.
Our pets are with us, and they do not have a clue that anything in the world has changed. They consistently bring a smile to our faces with their antics and love of life. It brings us great pleasure to do something nice for them each day.
There is less traffic on the road, which makes our job much easier. Now if we could only figure out a way to keep it this way. From what I keep hearing, many businesses are figuring out they might not need that huge building, and it is working to have employees work from home. What a bonus that would be for all of us.
The best part of all is that we have each other, this month Bob and I will celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. That in itself is something to be proud of. When I look back over the years or the hardships we have endured to where we are now, it is easy to be satisfied with a life well-lived.
