It's a Team's Life

Is anyone watching?

Recently while approaching a construction zone I was passed by several vehicles and a truck until they saw the flashing lights of a police car.  Now they were all stepping on the brakes while I continued on at the posted speed limit with no worries.

The reduced speed limit warning signs had been posted many times before actually entering the construction zone, there were no surprises that the speed was being reduced.  Why is it necessary to waste the time of a police officer or a police car to sit there with the lights on to get drivers to pay attention?

Each of us can do the right thing when we choose. Make 2020 the year we do not need flashing lights.
