On each of our previous trucks, we have bought our side boxes and had the company where we purchased them perform the installation. This time Bob decided he had the right equipment to mount and modify the boxes as he wanted.
He bought five boxes, four are 18 X 18 X 48” and the fifth is 24 X 24 X 42” and they will line the side of the truck. He has also purchased two more Freightliner fairings, and these will go under the sleeper. These are at the body shop being painted to match the truck.
The goal is to put most of our freight moving equipment into the belly boxes so that we can use all 19’ of our freight box to haul freight.
There will be more pictures as he completes his assembly.
