Christmas is over

We have been a very lucky close knit family and have one spent one Christmas day not all together.   It was very difficult for all of us the year Brandy had to call on Christmas day while deployed in Iraq.   It was very difficult for her as well as us and I call only imagine how hard it must be on new parents and newlyweds during the holidays.   Her being gone that year has reminded us how lucky we are to have each other at any time.   We had a very nice Christmas day playing cards, watching a movie, and then having a bowling and home run derby on the WII.   We have a few more days together before it will be time for Brandy to head back to Nellis Air Force base and us to get back on the road.   We look out at our truck sitting down by the shop and are very thankful for all our truck has allowed us to accomplish.   We knew well ahead of time that we would want to take extra time off during the holidays so we stayed out a bit longer then normal.   Our truck is sitting out there covered in snow waiting for us to come back out and hit the roads once again.   Even though we enjoy our family and being at home we know the truck is there waiting for the road to start calling our name once again.
