In The Beginning...

As alluded to in the last article, if you decide to buy a new truck, start with a great chassis. After all, if the truck is not powerful enough for your needs and efficient, all the glitz and shine will soon fade as you realize you bought the wrong truck. Getting the right specifications for your needs is the most crucial aspect of buying a truck. Then you can worry about the comfort level.

While the truck you choose can be both stylish and aerodynamic, it should also boast great MPG. Today’s trucks are more efficient, if set up correctly and driven properly.

Now for the comfort level. We spend hours upon hours on the road and if available, we would like a comfortable place to rest and relax.

Doesn’t that look comfy?

It will soon enough.

This is the blank canvas that you get to work with in a Western Star 5700xe, if you order it without any sleeper components from John Lalonde at Buckeye Western Star in Plain City, OH.

Then it gets delivered from the factory to Wayne Baylor of Premier Custom Sleepers in Ft. Worth, TX.

From bare walls and floor, you can create your own custom sleeper. If the blank canvas has you wondering where to start, don’t worry, John and Wayne can help you along the way. Once you have the basics down, then you can really get creative and make it your own.

The only limits are that the components have to fit in the 82” sleeper space. You would be surprised to find just what all you can get in there.

See you down the road,
