It is the new journalism, where their opinion is more important than you right to know.
Have any of you actually taken the time to sift through the mission and ethics statements of say AP, Reuters, ABC or NBC. I left CBS out of it because their mission statement is clear, "we put up pretty perky blonds to tell you what to think and to distract you because we lie anyways."
It amazes me that the NYTs and AP will go out of their way using the excuse that there is an absolute need to know that Ali Maliki Mohammad and his borther Mac was tortured by the CIA on December 25, 2005 using waterboarding and shock treatments for eight hours that day with the results of gaving up a sleeper cell in one of the suburbs of Dayton which prevented the cell from detonating a dirty bomb during the Hamvention in May of 2006 and even mentions the names of the agents who were doing the work but forget to cover the republicans and their confrence about what their plan is to save the country.
I had to do something I didn't want to do and that is bring back a website which was intended for opinions and such, it was mothballed because of a lack of time I had last year. Because of the BIG BIG push of both Opinion and Advocacy Journalism and the number of sites growing daily, it is going back on line with new formats and content - yeah! It will fit right in with the other blogs/tweets/websites that are about the same thing but draw HUGE visitors.
