What I've been up to

I bought me a truck in Jan. and have been running hard ever since. I bought my grandpaw's last truck actually. It's a '97 Pete 379 extended hood with a 60" sleeper. I just had a new motor and transmission put in that I got off of a truck that had about 30k miles on it and got rolled. The motor and tranny are in prestine condition. I got my truck back from the mechanic yesterday and I'm getting my trailer back from a friend that pulled it for while I was off. He has been really slow so the extra revenue made him happy, the loads being hauled kept my customers happy, the new guts made the truck happy, the vacation made my wife happy, and the time off made me happy. So everyone is happy. I guess. I'll be going back to work sunday and I'm ready to see how the new motor and tranny perform.

Joe: it's good to have you back, and doing well - but what about school? [If you decided it just isn't for you, well, it isn't for me either!] Just wondered.....:)

Good to see you back on the road Joe! Are you pulling a dry box?

I'm pulling a 53' Great Dane refer. I've been just hauling loads for Remington out to Cali and then picking up electronics stuff (laptop computers, desktop computers, and flatscreen t.v.s) back to the Wal Mart distrubution either in Springdale,AR or Searcy, AR. It pays well and it's easy hauling and no big rush to get where I'm going. I can't complain.

You must have cleared your medical problems to be able to drive again...Was the VA instrumental for this?

Great your able to drive again...:)
