For the last few days I've been watching as one news group after another reports on Obama's miraculous plan. Initially it was going to create 1.5 million jobs, then 2.1 million, 2.5 million, up to 3 million and now AP reports it would create up to 4.1 million jobs. All we have to do is wait a few more days and there will not be one single unemployed person in this nation.

Sheesh, how amazing that so many fools could have voted for this idiot and the media fawns all over him. It would be supremely laughable and enjoyable if only those who deserve it get what we'll all get from this.

I read the analysis that was posted online. It's a little Clinton-esque in that it won't actually create 4.1 million jobs (the report analysis actually states 3.65 million), but it will create or save a total of 3.65 million job in the aggregate. (It's like the Clinton Budget, where we spend $50 million on this or that program, and where we planed on spending an additional $30 million on it next year, we'll only spend an additional $20 million, and the $10 million difference is a reduction in spending.)

A lot of it is based on where the unemployment numbers are likely to go if a stimulus package isn't implemented, and where they will be if the packaged is put into place, plus the creation of new jobs. But what percentage of those jobs are newly created, or merely ones that are saved, doesn't really matter much.

In any case, while I don't much like Obama, I'm rooting for him to succeed. If he fails, yeah, we'll get a big laugh out of it. But I'd rather eat crow with his success, than eat stale bread and watery soup at the soup kitchens in order to say, "I told you so!" Clearly, what we've been doing up to this point ain't workin'.

Turtle, you have more faith in these nuts than I do. Fools cannot succeed. Only the media will call thier failure a success. Carter got us into this mess and Clinton insured the first attack on the U.S. Mainland since WW2. We now have a total Marxist and a criminal going to be in the highest office in the country. The next attacks will make 9/11 pale and Obama's elimination of our Constitution will finish us. He has no respect for the Constitution or anything else that I hold dear. I only hope that when he finally meets his end that God sees fit to have him "Rot In H*ll" along with Hitler, Stalin and the rest of the bunch he so admires. Layoutshooter

I can't imagine Joe you would want America to fall? He's elected, hes' the President. You'd think even though that YOU and MANY that don't like him THAT you'd hope for the country and he is successful in turning this around.

Do I want him to fail? No. That would be terrible for me and others who don't deserve it. Do I believe he will fail? Undoubtedly, by any sensible and logical measure of success. Being realistic enough to see the writing on the wall doesn't mean approving of it.

NO, I don't want him to fail. Short of him just going away I hope he does well. I just don't want to see anything that he is planning on doing. WHY? Because his Marxism will cause the failure of this country. If he succeeds in doing what he talks about this country will cease to be a world power. Our very way of life will go away.
