Unions run this administration

We are in a period of DEFLATION. The cost of living is coming down. Housing is WAY down. Tax revenues are down. They will continue to drop for a long time. There is NO money for pay increases. The Officials should be cutting their own pay, DRASTICLY. Many cities are losing population, therefore, there is less need for services. The tax payer is NOT getting much if any in the way of raises so those who are PAID by the tax payer cannot expect any more.

I do not blame the union alone, although, they are a large part of the problem. As to the right to work bunch, NO one has the RIGHT to force me to belong to a Union IF I CHOOSE not too. It is most likely un-Constitutional to require union membership to have a job. Freedom is MORE important.

So, I guess you're not going to explain why you think a mod shouldn't be able to debate here either?
When you become a mod you become The Establishment, maaannnn. A socialist pig. Off the pigs! Нell no, we won't go! Give peas a chance. Make love, not war!

Or not.

Sorry, LSD flashback.

That's the problem, even considering giving peas a chance. Yuck. On topic though, while the unions certainly aren't the only reason for failings in cities the point of the article was the union who informed the administration of the picket lines they'd blaspheme if they attended and suddenly numerous administration people scheduled and promised to attend become no shows.

I didnt know J M Dean. I do recall the Woolies. "Who do you Love", right?
Mid 60's to early 70's band.

J M Dean was their lead singer. A Toledo band. Dean was one of my college instructors. We were all music majors and we formed a group and recorded a record with him. We recored at the famed "United Sound" in Detroit.
