Conservatives have made conservatism a bad word. You guys didn't need the media to help you with that.
Huh?
Go to any modern definition of conservative using a google search. It's quite amazing how they've changed the meaning into a political standing. To conserve used to mean possessing some thought process, prior to moving forward. Running low on water in the desert, getting low on food, spending money etc......
Now it's....unwilling to change, stuck on the old ways, and other derogatory words and connotations. Politically? It used to stand for people actually holding to traditional values in order to
preserve something. It's a thought process long abandoned by liberals, who don't think about the consequences of their willy nilly progression, and what the trade off will entail.
One distinct difference in the old system of Rep and Dem......The Dems actually fought for labor rights, while the more conservative faction believed in raising oneself up by the bootstraps for success. (to their benefit of course) That balance help to create a middle class unknown to mankind in all history. Do you see the Dems doing this now? That's just one example, and this side show phony left/right thing has everyone but a true conservative in derision.
What WE wanted, as true conservatives,
in order to preserve our constitutional freedom, was the adherence to the just law of this country in order to remain a free people. When you don't conserve your water, watch your food intake, and think before you act......you have what we have now. A ruling class who stand for nothing but themselves, big business, and Wall Street.
As for the masses? Congratulations, women now have the right to run around in what amounts to their underwear, white males now have the right to do practically nothing, your budget is in total shambles, your middle class near destroyed, half the population on food stamps or mind altering drugs, and it goes on and on.
We progressed alright.......into two separate classes of people, and this is progress, were told. Sell it somewhere else.
