Time for light-duty trucks to scale?

I dig the Merc, too. But the filters alone are more than I have to spend each month for my bi-monthly tire rotation and lube job. Michelins carrying a 4.8L extended Express. It's an inexpensive ride. But with 332K on its ticker, I'm sure something's coming.

Did 400 Tuesday night, got 6 hrs fitful sleep, did 900 just now. Don't have the last 55 to go from Waycross to Brunswick. Got a room. Tired makes stupid, stupid makes tragedy. Even a n00b knows that.

You must have delivered to CSX in Waycross Georgia. That's always a fun place to try and get out of when you're tired.

Chicks dig the Mercedes.

Er-- ahhhh--- about that--: When I traded in my Ford for the Sprinter, my wife had a fit. See, the Ford was paid off and all, and she just couldn't see that the Sprinter (a) made more money and (b) had dramatically lower fuel costs. She just didn't see that I needed the larger vehicle, though at the time my dispatchers were having a fit about the amount of freight I couldn't handle on the Ford. She said it was a waste of money.

Since then, I've been divorced-- funny thing, it's her spending us into the poorhouse that created the financial mess--and traded the Sprinter in on the Chevy that I have now. If I get another wife, and she wants a Mercedes-- she knows where the dealerships are.
