I have financed two vans for expediting (Chevy 3500) through two different credit unions. I first open a savings account and make regular deposits for awhile. Then I apply for a loan. I'm sure I was asked how the vans would be used.
Mine is a credit union in Roscommon mi which I've had accounts for 30 years. They said no problem and gave me a great rate compared to dealership. But when I sent vin #'s they said sorry no commercial vehicle loans?
