For those who think I'm crazy, look around. I know many of the "left brand" are blind or can't read but hey I can't make this stuff up.
In the last few days we have had a couple really good things happen over the healthcare issue.
There was Obama's speech to the AMA which I thought was a little like preaching and a little like selling these professions slinkees.
Then there was the piece of work on how we are going to pay for this, you know the 'reforms' for the 15 million who are uninsured and the other 15 million that is underinsured. Of course the reforms could take place without the government dropping a dime on anything, cut medicaid and half the rolls of medicare and then step out of the way will do wonders.
but then there was this article;
Dems seek to trim health bill as estimates soar - Yahoo! News
And somewhere in it is buried this comment "Other senators, allied with organized labor, have also expressed opposition, although Baucus has told reporters he could exempt health benefits included in union contracts from the tax."
