So easily #triggered ...

Oh ... she's certainly hardworking alright ... but that isn't all.

She went out of her way to act as Trump's defense lawyer, making arguments his attorney's hadn't even made, similar to what the now-disgraced Cover Up General did who was proven to be a liar, and jumped through all sorts of hoops - including ignoring precedent - to arrive at a tortured ruling ... finding for the guy who nominated her to the bench.

Interestingly, those who claim to be so concerned about #BIASSSS!!! never called for her to recuse herself.

:tearsofjoy:
36 percent of Dems voted to confirm her.

It's not my Schorsch report, but anyway, I never disagreed that the story exploded after Trump confirmed it. It's just that Trump didn't break the story.

And that's a detail that is clear-cut and verifiable, yet many people get it wrong, and steadfastly stick to they didn't get it wrong, or they have it kinda sorta, directionally correct, close enough to be practically correct. So, not wrong.

Imagine how confusing it might get when people start speculating what might have once been inside the old, empty manila folders marked "CLASSIFIED" that are strewn about Trump's properties.

Much like people were speculating about all of the classified documents in Hillary’s emails that were deleted?

A bias anti Trump magistrate that they shopped it to, instead of bringing it in front of an article 3 judge. It didn’t even include an office of legal counsel opinion with it. Because they were afraid of what they would say and have to give relevant court cases like the 1988 Supreme Court, and 2012 rulings and previously held DOJ policy.
They took the easy path instead and just found a magistrate that had just recused himself previously because of a case involving Trump. It showed a lack of integrity in the DOJ to do it that way.

Biased against what law breakers? Dam right most judges are.

It was a “beat down” shot across the bow ruling by judge Cannon.
Can’t have the “The fox guarding the henhouse”.

Need to have a fair third party checking their work.
Good, a citizen’s constitutional rights are important.

Also, what’s this? Biden lied:

You can invent any number of scenarios in which the "case is going to go up in smoke," as you put it. But to meaningful, they must correspond to reality.

At present, no case is going up in smoke. Trump has not sought to have the search declared illegal. Trump has not succeeded in stopping the investigation (it continues in every respect except new rules now apply to a certain portion of the documents in question ... those seized at Mar-a-Lago). Trump has not tried to argue in court that the classified documents in questions (both those seized at Mar-a-Largo and those returned by Trump earlier) were in fact declassified. Trump has not denied having U.S. government property at Mar-a-Lago that the Presidential Records Act prohibits him from having. The special master has zero control over the witnesses that have been developed.

At present, a District Court granted Trump's request for a special master. At present, we do not know if DOJ will accept or appeal that ruling. At present, the exact responsibilities of the special master and who the special master will be have yet to be determined. There are other factors also unknown that will become known over time.

One thing is crystal clear. This is a victory for Trump in that he is once again successfully using the courts to delay legal action against him.

Special witnesses like the ones from the January 6th all 3rd party witnesses.

On the other hand, this was a stinging defeat for the DOJ in a case that liberal lawyers and pundits were ridiculing, saying it had no chance of success. The amateurish way the FBI conducted this whole thing, especially the ridiculous picture of papers strewn all over the floor has emphasized the need for a special master, so the judge's ruling is solid. It should not be interpreted as a delay of an inevitable conviction of Trump.

One thing is certain - it will be interesting to see what the special master uncovers as he/she sorts through this mess.
