Susan Rice For Sec of State...The Liberals Aren't Happy!!

Yeah it seems that the prospect of Susan Rice becoming Sec of State doesn't sit to well with the Lib's on the Left and the Progressives...This from the article linked below :

Progressives would be condemning her as a champion of imperialistic wars under the pretense of humanitarianism if they hadn't just been trained for an entire election season to view themselves as spectators and cheerleaders for one half of their government, duty bound to support whatever the Bad Team opposes.

She is bad for the entire country, not just those liberals etc. Then again, Obama is bad for the entire country as well.

It is becoming more and more clear that what really doesn't sit well with Lib's is the thought of Democratic Sen. John Kerry's seat becoming empty and possibly being filled by Republican Scott Brown.

One other little problem that will make the left go nuts. Rice has between 300k and 600k invested with TransCanada. They are the primary investor with the Keystone pipeline. Of course she wants to be Secretary of State. She stands to gain quite a bit and the State Dept is insturmental in the decision making process.

As a Secretary she would be required to divest that stock. Similar to how Hank Paulson had to divest his shares of Goldman Sachs stock. He made a killing because of the "special" tax treatment and so will she. Zero capital gains tax.
