I've never had a short gov load. I'm sure they are out there but most are easily 50% deadhead and over 1,000 miles.

We have had several short, under 500 mile, government loads. DOD, all other government, and surface loads, are all treated the same by my company. They either pay me what I want to run that load, or I don't run it. It is REALLY simple. If that means we go out of business, then that is what will happen. We are no one's coolie.
