I was dead center in the path of totality at a cemetery in Elmira, Missouri. It rained prior to the beginning of the eclipse. During the first part of the eclipse phase we were getting teased. Mostly cloudy with short peeks at the sun. Just prior to the total eclipse there was an opening in the cloud cover. We were treated to a 12 minute window that included about 2:40 of totality. Very impressive and well worth it! Including the $20 I payed two locals to pull my van out that sunk in soft grass area.
