Yeah, so?

So.....talk to the powers that be and have 'em banned or suspended for being a troll or for a drive-by post or whatever else you want to accuse the guy of doing. In other words, quit whining!

I'm not sticking up for the guy, he's very capable of doing that himself. But if he's done something that violates the "so called" code of conduct then do something about it.

Limbaugh's radio empire is going to be just fine.

Phew.....thank goodness. I'd hate to see a good man go down.

Americans have a short attention span as another gussied-up controversy will soon come along.

For the most part, yes, but you know women, they don't forget. Like it or not, Limbaugh and the Republican party are one in the same and women will remember this come November.

That's the beauty in all of this, the Democrats knew all along what they were doing and the Republicans played right into their hands. Okay, sarcasm off.

For every advertiser Limbaugh loses, a dozen will gladly seek to fill those spots.

Especially parasitic and unscrupulous companies such as AshleyMadison.com - The dating website for married people (Yahoo News) and those companies that are eager to seperate fools from their money.

Rush does live radio three hours a day and sometimes gets himself in a bit of hot water. He has some intemperate moments. The namecalling should never have happened.

He went on for three days!!!!! OMG....that is too funny.

Consider the "LIKE" button pushed.

But the reaction on here is not "whining". When somebody with a history of trolling shows up on this forum after about a year's absence and puts up a vitriolic post that lacks even a shred of substance, it shouldn't be a surprise to see reactions from regulars who object to this kind of trash and don't want to see it go unchallenged. Obviously moderators don't have the power to ban or suspend posters, but the admins do - and they've chosen to remain silent.

"For the most part, yes, but you know women, they don't forget. Like it or not, Limbaugh and the Republican party are one in the same and women will remember this come November."

Obama better hope you are wrong on this one! The 'left' is FAR better at degrading women than the right! From the Kennedy's to Bill Clinton. Not to mention the filthy mouth leftist talking heads. They make what Rush said seem tame!

But, one thing for sure, the double standards are alive and will in Washington, on all sides.

By the way, Obama proved he had NO idea in the world what a president should be doing in office when he called that 'student'. He SHOULD have stayed out of it. Just another campaign stunt, including the hearings that led to this entire thing. I wonder? Will Obama stop running for president if his is reelected? NAW! He has been running for almost 6 years now. Why stop now?

I LOVE the line below, Obama says he is going to 'lead by example'. Lead what? When is he going to start? Would a 'leader' who claims to be taking the 'high ground' allow his 'super pac' to take a million bucks from one of the most foul mouthed leftists out there? Double standards.

[h=1]Asked About "Distasteful" Language from Liberal Commentators, President Obama Says He Aims to Lead by Example[/h]
By Jake Tapper | ABC OTUS News – Tue, Mar 6, 2012

Twice at his press conference today President Obama was asked about "provocative or distasteful statements" from Democrats and liberal commentators, and twice he opted not to weigh in.

In the wake of the firestorm of media coverage and criticism ofconservative talk radio giant Rush Limbaugh's crass insults of an activist from Georgetown Law School, many conservatives have argued that there is seldom, if ever, a similar outcry when liberal commentators say similarly crude things about conservative women.

There's no shortage of examples, from MSNBC's Ed Schultz calling conservative radio host Laura Ingraham a "right wing :censoredsign:"Ed Schultz: Laura Ingraham A 'Right-Wing :censoredsign:' (AUDIO) to Current's Keith Olbermann assailing conservative commentator Michelle Malkin as a "mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it,"Olbermann Calls Michelle Malkin A Lipsticked Meatbag, Malkin Responds | Mediaite , to unflattering remarks made by HBO comedian Bill Maher about former Governor Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin Demands Obama Super PAC Return Bill Maher’s Campaign Donation | Mediaite (Maher recently pledged a $1 million contribution to the Super-PAC that supports President Obama, which is run by former top White House aides.)

The first time the president was asked about a "double standard," he didn't answer the question (It came as part 3 of a three-part question about Limbaugh). When CNN's Jessica Yellin asked about Democrats referring to the Republican party's "war on women," the president begged off, saying, "if I start being in the business of arbitrating that the - "

"You talk about civility," Yellin interrupted.

"Right, and what I do is, I practice it," said the president. "And so I'm going to try to lead by example in this situation, as opposed to commenting on every single comment that's made by either politicians or pundits. I would be very busy. I would not have time to do my job. That's your job - to comment on what's said by politicians and pundits."

The election has nothing to do with my coming back. If you want to place blame, the admin here continually invites me to drop by.On the day I'd had enough of Rush, I said to myself, "okay, maybe it is time to drop in and make a comment or two".

I'm not opposed to unions per se, in the past workers got srewed by management, and there was a need to even the playing field. Private sector union memebers have to produce or they can be fired. State employee unions have long out lived their usefulness as they promote anti work ethices by their stupid flags and jackets and swagger.I'm not renewing a couple of contracts as I can't get anything done in the face of moronic behavior and a lack of determination to complete tasks on time and on budget.

As we lead the country ( and the world) in cutting edge innovation and technology, our unemployment rate is tired to the tech sector for the most part. Our population is bright, aggresive and determined to create jobs while protecting the envirorment so we can maintain the standard of living we so appreciate. It's one of the most beautiful places in the world and the tourism numbers support that notion. If you could see the San Francisco Bay this morning, as I do each moring on the way to work while driving over the San Mateo Bridge, you might go a little easier on my home.If it's the resentment that we all think we're beautiful people, well, it's better than thinking of ourselves as trolls !!

Liberals feign horror at every wrong-headed word uttered by conservative commentators. Rush Limbaugh is a lightning rod for Dems because for two decades he has excoriated them unmercifully. Naturally, the Dems want his scalp. Limbaugh is not an official or unofficial spokesman for the GOP. Like most conservatives, Limbaugh penned his hopes on the GOP as the best vehicle to advance conservative idealogy. Obviously, the GOP Establishment has no intentions of allowing a conservative candidate to become the party's standard bearer.

Limbaugh was a child of the 1950's and 60's. The formative years which shaped his thinking is from a different era. His rants against women are plain stupid. Moreover, it( rants against women) hurts the conservative movement whenever a prominent conservative alienates a large voting bloc. The times have changed but Limbaugh hasn't.

Rush Limbaugh is probably smart enough not to repeat this blunder. But maybe not. We will see.

The testimony of ANOTHER person who wants the government to use force to require others to pay to cover her adult expenses? Who cares? I can listen to Obama and get that garbage. Her access, or any one else's for that matter, to birth control is not my concern, nor is it my responsibility. People need to accept the responsibility for the own lives.

If you CHOOSE to pay for her birth control, feel free to have at it! I CHOOSE not too!

Who is defending or minimizing what Rush said? Not I. I am just tired of the total double standards of so called 'liberals'.

Rush does not matter, he seems to be ignored by the republican party leaders and more seems to lead those in the same attitude that prevails in this conservative movement that no one seems to want to step away from the liberals inside the movement.

Andy you seem to be on my side of the fence with public unions.

Rush, as are most talking heads, are ignored by the majority of people with a functioning brain. Just as politicians are ignored. Only fools believe the words of either.

Not surprising.

I taught to be responsible. I was taught that everyone was responsible for their own lives. I was taught that charity was a gift, given freely. I was taught that the Constitution does not allow the Government to use force to extort money from one to give to another. I took an oath to defend that Constitution, and I will.

What is not surprising? That I believe in personal responsibility? I guess expecting people, adults, to grow up, accept full responsibility for their own lives is wrong and somehow expecting that makes me a bad person, is that correct?

The biggest difference between today's 'liberals' and my way of thinking is choice.

All the socialist programs pushed by 'liberals' require the use of force to implement them. I believe the opposite. I believe that IF a person CHOOSES to pay to support those who refuse to do so themselves, that is just fine. If another chooses not to pay to support those who refuse to do so, that is fine too. I am VERY pro-choice. 'Neo-Liberals' are not. They allow only two options, do what I say or you will be forced to do so by any means needed. Up to and including being shot.

Yep, freedom is alive and well, except in the United Soviet Socialist States of America.
