Radical Rhetoric And Its Results

We've all heard about the "Black Lives Matter" movement, which has now escalated into genuine civil unrest thanks to our racist POTUS and his mouthpieces like Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan. Within a matter of days we've seen the cold-blooded shootings of the two white journalists in Roanoke and the white deputy in Houston - both by black scumbags whose lives are worth less than nothing. How much the inflammatory rhetoric from the above "leaders" in the black community played in these senseless deaths, no one knows. However, two things are obviously missing after these outrageous and senseless killings: (1) riots and (2) emphatic words of condemnation and sincere condolences to the families of these victims from our detached POTUS; he's too busy playing golf. Regardless of his apathy, the states should take a stand against this kind of domestic terrorism and demonstrate it will not be tolerated from any race, religion or political group.

The deputy never saw the man who walked up behind him and shot him in the head before unloading an entire 14-round magazine into his body, a Harris County, Texas, prosecutor said Monday.
Deputy Darren Goforth was found in a pool of blood next to his patrol car, which he had been filling up with gas at the time of this death, District Attorney Devon Anderson said.

Last week in Miami at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan said he was looking for “10,000 fearless men” to “rise up and kill those who kill us; stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling!”

Anyone who types "our racist POTUS and his mouthpieces Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan" has one helluva nerve blaming civil unrest on the "inflammatory rhetoric" of Obama.

Maybe not Farrakhan, but divisive and inflammatory Rev Al Sharpton has close ties to Obama. He and former AG Eric Holder have heaped praise on him, but they have never denounced him publicly. So there's that.

I don't know about all of this BS at one time in this country it wasn't right it was way wrong a black man couldn't vote but could be drafted. Etc etc the list is long . Women couldn't vote . Gays were put in mental hospitals .We have come a long ways on human rights in this country. How many can remember when blacks were alowed. to become police officers they were put in black areas ,they protested it was being racest etc etc. Yes whites moved out of inner cities but why crime went up etc etc. When are we as a country going to heal .

Reading the words of the OP, just can NOT imagine where black people would get the impression that their lives don't matter.

For starters, you might want to consider the rate at which blacks kill each other, the rate or their children born out of wedlock and the rate of their abortions compared to the rest of the population of the US. Of course we dare not mention their disproportionate crime and unemployment rates. It's not a question of nerve to bring up inconvenient facts, it's just not PC. Obama has done nothing to bridge the racial divide, and under his administration the standard of living for everyone - especially blacks - has deteriorated. Notice the news about crime rates rising in the past year, especially in metro areas like Chicago and Baltimore. Maybe it's a case of "lives don't matter" to the criminal element in our country.

When are we as a country going to heal .

Not in our lifetime. There are too many bigots still around.
I don't believe it's so much the bigots per se, it is more the result of the "diversity" ideology. Us against them. Everybody wants to identify and belong to their own little group or clan. Black lives matter, white lives don't. White lives matter, black lives don't. Christians hate Muslims, Muslims hate Christians. Everyone hates Jews and Irish. Liberals hate conservatives, conservatives hate liberals. Straights hate vanners, vanners hate straights. Everyone hates yellow Penske cubers.

Gone are the days of America being the great "melting pot". Assimilation has given way to diversity. The middle ground is quickly disappearing. Ain't no fun being a moderate. Divide and conquer! This has been going on in this country way before Obama. He has accelerated the process though.

Enough of my ranting. I'm going out and flattening some tires on yellow Penske cubes. Fondue anyone?

Amazing how fast the continuing racial divide is blamed on Obama.

:wideyed:

Maybe because he is the one in charge and does very little to nothing to change it or to denounce those who are doing all they can to promote it.

Do you mean like changing black people? I've never heard anyone talking about a white president doing this.

I mean like anything at all. All he's done so far is be very visible and vocal in some cases and barely more than invisible and silent in others. And yes, some part of it would be changing the racism of the black community. He could start in Congress with the CBC. One member's district is over 50% black people. He wanted to join the CBC to better represent the majority of his constituents. He was rejected because the CBC is racist and won't allow a white member. Frankly, there should be no groups based on race regardless of which race. Our worthless leader with all his "post racial America" BS hasn't done anything except spout that idiotic phrase, certainly nothing to make it happen.

I will agree, Obama has not done or said diddly squat about the continued racism in this country. But to make him the immidiate focal point in the discussion is not helping.

Sorry, but he's the POTUS so he's the focal point regardless of the secondary actors that figure into the situation. His racially tinged rhetoric has been present since his speeches in his first campaign in 2007.

Exclusive: In heated ’07 speech, Obama lavishes praise on Wright, says feds ‘don’t care’ about New Orleans [VIDEO]

Everyone remembers his comments about his white grandmother; the police "acting stupid" in the incident involving the black professor in Boston; the nonsense about the thug Trayvon Martin looking like the son he might have had (tats, grilles and all); of course there were his comments about Ferguson, MO and the rioters there who by the way, celebrated the first anniversary with more riots:

"[W]e need to accept that this decision was the grand jury’s to make. There are Americans who agree with it, and there are Americans who are deeply disappointed, even angry. It’s an understandable reaction."

Obama on Ferguson: America's Racist, Give Me More Power - Breitbart

But more recently, it's been his lack of comment that shows his true colors. He could have emphatically denounced the BLM thugs and their campaign for killing cops, along with the maniacal speeches of the racist lunatic Louis Farrakhan. Instead, we get crickets. Imagine if the insignificant David Duke had made a speech calling for 10,000 volunteers to go out and kill the black people that are killing whites, or if there had been a KKK rally at a state fair complete with racist chants. They would be denounced not only as racists but also threats to civilized society and our rule of law. During his two miserable terms in office he has done nothing to improve the lives blacks, whites, or any other American citizens. Now the mullahs in Iran - that's a different story, and the subject for another thread.

It's politics for Obama. He won't speak out too much against it because he needed and still needs to keep together part of his constituency to win elections. That's why there were crickets heard from Obama instead of condemnation when VP Joe Biden told a black audience the Republicans will put you all back in chains. Obama himself did something similar back in 2008, as a candidate for President. Speaking in Detroit to a predominately black audience, Obama said the following:
Article excerpt :
Barack Obama and Joe Biden were in Detroit this afternoon before 35,000 or more people. Obama hit hard on the winning issues of this campaign:

"I think Senator McCain just doesn’t get it – he doesn’t understand that the storm hitting Wall Street hit Main Street long ago. That’s why his first response to the greatest financial meltdown in generations was a KATRINA LIKE RESPONSE. Sort of stood there. Said the ‘fundamentals of the economy are strong.’"

Using the racially tinged word like Katrina was a calculated decision to galvanize support among black voters by creating racial strife and grievances. It apparently has continued throughout his Presidency.
