I have no reason why people rush to put money into a 400 million jackpot, while one of 40 million would serve them just as well. Millionaires/billionaires have said that 30 million is about the point at which you could do everything you want to (within reason), and anymore is just gravy. Personally, I'd be quite happy with a few mil. But I don't particularly like the 'poor tax', so I don't play.
Still driving, not fishing.
$40 million, after taxes etc, would not be enough for me to fulfill all the dreams I have. $400 million would. The veteran's place, my "dream job", I want to build, and staff, would cost a LOT of money.
