Obama vows not to send people to war without cause

So we once again back to questioning the patriotism of those of us(70% at last count) who insisted that W and his cronnies had to go.I'm so sorry if my rhetoric was distasteful to those of you who feel taking out Sadam and his sons was worth 5000 American dead. I'm sorry,I get a little emotional about things like this,but I understand that on the day we mourn our fallen soldiers someone can make such an absurd statement. Ask the families of the fallen if they believe that their loved ones felt they they were giving their lives for three hoodlums and a pack of lies and see what they think.
Talk about disrespect,that is some gall.

I don't think anyone said taking out Sadam and his sons were worth any American's deaths. Ask the families of those in the mass graves over there if they are thankful for us going in there. War is not a easy concept for anyone to understand that hassn't lived through it. I don't take the death of one American lightly, so don't put your spin on it like I would.

I beleive that it is un-necessary for us to be posting "graphic" pitures in here any more. This "shock jock" picture game is degrading this forum. I understand why one might want to show these things, they are real and it IS what we are up against. It is just not needed, from anyone.

War is VERY ugly. Our enemy is a vile enemy with no respect for human life. This type of war we are in is the nastyest type there is. There is going to be many many more chances for posting these kinds of pics.

I am not pointing fingers at any one person or group of people. Just all of us in general.

Let's tone this down before it gets out of hand.

Doug, I have said it more then a few times, but i'll repeat it again just for you... i am a ohio registered voter, registered as an independent, not a repub or dem. I voted for clinton both times...wasn't a chance in h*ll I'd vote for the 2 idiots gore or kerry anf barry was never even on the screen...and i didn't vote for mc cain...so your suggestion that my "party" has lost the presidency, senate, congress or this S/C seat (which isn't going to change the power of the S/C because she is replacing another liberal) is just not how it is...but you are right, it is a lost, for the country won one party no matter which party it is is in total control of the government....but I'd be willing to bet that that will change in the next election cycle if barry continues on his path to screwing this counrty into the ground....So no doug, my party hasn't lost, I don't vote party, i vote for the people that best work for my ideals....no matter what party they are from.....The Ohio Republican party is a joke, and that is just one example....

I've said numerous times that I vote against the greater of two evils in most cases. If I have a party at all, it's conservative. My last congressman was a democrat and I supported him. He was a good one, a rarity I know but all the same he was. It's kind of like racism though. The most racist yell the loudest about it and the most extreme liberals are the most judgemental of others who disagree and lump them all together in the other party.

hmmm i guess as a liberal dem you have lived a sheltered life....since both the libertarian party and the conservative party are both (shock) based on conservative ideals.....Soooo one can be an independent, a libertarian, or a member of the conservative party and be a conservative....lol, i even know a few dems that lead to the coservative side.....yea i know who wouldn't consider them real dems, but thats how they describe themselves.....
