He was in such a hurry to criticize Obama that he got it all wrong: the statement he referred to wasn't from the White House, it was from the Embassy, and it was before the attack took place. Then he flipflopped and now says exactly what he first condemned Obama for saying! If there's legitimate criticism to make, he ought to at least figure out what it is before shooting his mouth off.
Romney is a total disaster at foreign relations, period.

SO is Obama. He has not done ONE thing right in foreign relations, PERIOD. Got FAR more U.S. soldiers killed than needed, got us into Libya, maybe into Iran soon. So much for "Mr. Peace Prize". Obama is a blithering idiot in every way, shape or form. Romney is only an idiot. Obama is WORSE than Carter was at foreign relations, THAT is a REAL trick! I wonder is Obama is going to LIE about how back he was like Carter has been doing since he got booted out.

Quite frankly they are both pretty bad.
With regard to that time line, the apology bit came from the embassy and then supported by the state department. Once the White House got wind of it, they said it wasn't the White-houses position. It is amazing it comes out on twitter, and then vanishes once it blows into a mess.
Romney could have waited and then condemned the original message. He did trash the original statements, not the Whitehouse one. With Obama, his response was to head to Vegas for cash. Hardly stellar either. Now that many of our embassies are under attack I think we currently see what the results of our foreign policy have been. Looks like a mess.

On a side note, Obama agreed with Romney's position because he denounced the same thing later after it disappeard from twitter.

What does "almost never" mean? It means nothing. It's opinion. Without numbers it's just spin, same as the entire piece.

Remember that basketball game in the 70s where the finals were between the US and the Soviets where the US beat the Soviets, and Pravda reported the game as the Soviets came in second place and the US finished next to last? This piece is like that. It takes great pains to point out how important these meetings are and cannot be replicated by reading them, offers detailed numbers on Obama to point out just how few he attends, but offers no numbers whatsoever for Junior or any other president. For all the author (and others) know, 50% might be on the high side.
I'll have to agree that the number of PDBs Bush attended is irrelevant. But since you've brought it up maybe somebody can come up with the PDB attendance figures for some other past presidents just to put those of Obama in clearer context. At any rate, I'll bet most people would consider "almost never" to mean considerably higher than 38%.

wonder if they track how many were actually cancelled....hence you can't miss a meeting if it is cancelled...

Why, in a conversation about obama's lack of leadership, would you even mention Bush? if not to put blame on him instead of the current president?
It was mentioned because the article linked in the OP that this thread is about mentioned Bush, and did so to contrast both leadership and the frequency of the PDB.

I disagree....he used the killing of U.S. citizens to score election points, he was too quick on the trigger....

He is one of two running for president. His initial comments were about the embassy in Egypt right? So your statement about politicising the killing of U.S citizens isn't accurate.

Romney hasn't flip flopped at all on this. Obama condemned Romney's statement, flipflopped and agreed with him lin a later statement. Obama was such in a hurry to criticise Romney, that he wanted to be interviewed by so he could shoot his mouth off with out getting his story straight on whether Egypt is an ally or not. A comment the administration has been fumbling and bumbling ever since to clarify. Obama a total disaster in foreign relations.

White House: On second thought, Egypt is still kinda sorta an “ally” « Hot Air
