Yes, Local runs are so he can be here for the funeral and showing Sunday and Monday. Then we will get back on the road asap on Tuesday.

The family is both of our best friend. They are the ones who introduced Tracy and I. Becky the mom has been my friend since I was 15 years old. John, the dad was the friend of Tracy. John and Tracy used to re-enact civil war together. So this family is as if we are sisters and brothers.

Tracy has made it to the yard.

Got into White Marsh Maryland at 2230...I have been here before (Allison Trans) and they haven't had a 3rd ship shipping or reci eving in the past...they still don't...so its seep here till in the morning, then unload and re-load for the trip back to Saline Mich....

Steve....the tech had me try to turn the wheel...I had to put my all into it to get it to budge....:eek:

The saga kind of ended in a humourous manner....after the parts guy picked up the wrong caliper twice no less....the tech gets it all together..and lo and behold...they were out of brake fluid!!! *LOL* another 1/2 hour they just went to Auto Zone to buy it...

Now in Ennis Tx at a Wally World...in service....I hope...:rolleyes:

You should definitely place a couple of jars of pickles at the altar of the expedite gods.

Better check that golden horseshoe. It may have melted instead of the rotor.:D

Security woke me up and apologied...he wasn't in the shack and they were waiting for me to deliver...So I am empty, reloaded and heading to Hagerstown to get a few hours sleep ...I called dispatch and talked to Mark to let him know what I was told and picked up were close to the same, but that isn't what was on the QC or fleet vison...he has no clue...so i'll call dispatch in the morning to straighten out this mess.

Concerning the detours..I hope dispatch is going to add the extra miles into any quote?....They say the detour will get longer...another 2 weeks till it crests...

there is a map and distances with the above link....54 miles one direction almost 100 in the other....Maybe from Texas to Taylor I35 thru OK and up 44 to st louis to avoid traffic...

Sure makes it interesting with an interstate closed down. Looks like you're going to see 78 today...12 degrees warmer than here. I'm going to have to water before my trip to town..hope dispatch calls early.:)

got it.....Dallas to the Taylor.....up state r 75/69 to Tulsa and across....actually shorter...

Dallas to Knoxville direction...instead of 40 which is direct...

Take I 20 across thru Birmingham only adds....45 miles, give or take......
