As I was standing in the lake a bit ago, the part of my body that was not in the water, really felt the heat. So... I had to do a couple of dips, to get it cooled off. Was just wondering how you folks that are "stuck in a truck" are making it out there.

95 degrees here in the thriving metropolis of Dayton, OH.

Pretty good breeze; thankful for that little bit of relief.

Looks like 98 degrees tomorrow.

Little warm here in western TN as well. Suppose to clip 100 today.
No lake, but the cement pond seems to being doing the trick.

Glad to hear you guys are coolin' it out there. 105 here in Lexington,SC.Calling for temps over 100 all week!! Whoopee!!! I am home, inside, under the A/C and even though I am only a few blocks from the waters of Lake Murry SC, I will stay inside. I just can't see leaving a cool house to jump into warm bath water at the lake. Oh by the way, those not familiar with the midlands of SC, It's HUMID too!!!

Stay Kool,
Danny

Amen to that Phil!

I am in the process of having a Onan Microlite Generator installed on the Packvan this week. Already had rooftop air but could only run it for about 2-3 hours off aux. batteries, or go to a campground and plug into shore power. This summers heat made me decide it was time to build a better mousetrap for comfort.

Prediction for today in Columbia, SC is 106 degrees with heat index of 115. Warnings to stay indoors have been issued on the local news.
I was already ahead of them on that one!!

Stay Cool,
Danny

Sounds like I shouldn't complain about having to go back and put a long sleeved shirt on. 59 right now in Reno at 6am as I wait for the receiver to come out and break the seal.

He lives on Green Meadow Drive in Chapin SC. He married
a girl that already had a place right across the street
from lake. Her mom and dad..can't remember their names have a
house right on the lake, dock, boats, sea doos, and rental house
for weekend and vacation rentals.

Very nice place.. wish it was mine.

arrbsthw,

Sorry, I don't know them. I live on the other side of the lake (Lexington side). There are some fantastic homes on Lake Murry, the kind you look at and wonder how people can make the kind of money it takes to own or even keep up these homes.

Stay Cool,
Danny
