Interesting thing about Obama

I heard something interesting about Obama. I was talking this evening with some other guys about Obama and how we feel he will try to take our guns. One of the guys said Obama doesn't plan to take our guns, but our ammo. He said he heard Obama is wanting to increase the tax on ammo by 500%. Whether this is true or not I don't know. He said when he heard about it they were talking about people buying ammo by the thousands of rounds. If the tax on ammo goes up that much you will paying more tax than you will be for the actual ammo.

There is nothing new under the sun. This tactic has been tried many times by the Dems and the anti-gun groups before. It has passed on local levels a couple of times in the past. It wa disuised as a way to pay for public medical costs for injuries caused by gun crimes or a way to increase funding for prisons. I have never seen a 500% figure, it has alway been 5-10% to make it sound acceptable. Every time it was declared un-constitutional by the courts. It never made it very high up in the court system, at least not yet. That is why Osama Obama has to be not only defeated by destroyed in the election. We have to put an end to this communist, left wing, socialist, radical, oppressive way of thinking. Most of the attemps at this tactics have been tried by Democrat mayors in big cities. You know, the hot bed of Soviet thinking in the US. Like Harvard, Yale, Detroit, New York City. Got the idea? Layoutshooter

I was shocked today in my public speaking class. Our teacher told us we couldn't bring firearms, living animals, or porn to use as an aide during a speech. Ok, that's common sense. Then he made a comment that shocked me. He said he was for the 2nd Admendment, just not in his classroom. The second part was understandable. I was just shocked to hear a teacher from the English department in a university say openly they were pro right to bear arms. It kinda caught me off guard. Of course, I go to a small university know as the "cow college" because the university has a big cow pasture complete with cattle on the edge of campus. I think it has something to do with the Animal Sciences and Rodeo Club. It's a little country university with about 3,500 students and that is the way I like it.

Vote McCain! Many like to say McCain = 4 more yrs of Bush. I dont agree with this. But, even if it was true...I would take 4 more yrs of Bush over 4 yrs of what Obama could and prolly would bring... Just my .02

Both of which are very good things. I honestly feel McCain would be more bi partisian than Obama. Both Obama and Biden as well are way too left wing to be very bi partisian. Plus, Obama cant run from McCain's knowledge and experience. You can only dodge the debates for so long! HA HA HA

I did not make that very clear, I meant that you would get less socialism than you would with Obama, but still a ton of socialism. Much like the difference between a socialist or a Marxist. Yea, he will continue to duck debates, we should be demanding them. He is a political coward though, what else would you expect? Layoutshooter

Aren't the debates preplanned with his speech writers getting his answers ready days ahead of time, or is it spur of the moment? If it's spur of the moment McCain has it. The only thing is some of these Obama supporters are so blinded with something that Obama could make installing Sharia Law his platform and some would still be singing his praises. If he gets in I could see someone having to force him to leave when his time is up. He just has this air of future dictator.

And as the countries first Marxist dictator he will use force against any US citizen who opposes him. The ATF&E will become his "Brown Shirt" force, continuing what slick Willey started. That was on hold for the last 8 years but you will see it start right up again if Osama Obama is elected. Layoutshooter

Precisely the reason Obama is ducking the debates. If I am not mistaken...most of the questions are pre planned. But, to have an effective rebutal...one has to know what the other will say. So...long story short, Obama would be at a disadvantage. It is very difficult for a fresman senator or any other new guy to operate in that kind of setting. Imagine being a new guy who doesnt know much and trying to argue points with a man who has much knowledge and has been around since dirt was invented. Tough job to undertake...

Limbaugh suggested someone should ask Obama to name the period when, in his opinion, America was as it should be.

Doesn't this show anyone what he is like?

I know this has been posted before, but it needs to be viewed repeatedly just to understand how seriously flawed this guy really is. I wish we could get a transcript of this clip, because the words would really sink in better when read slowly. Hopefully, the McCain campaign will run this clip nonstop once the conventions are over and people start paying serious attention to the candidates.
