I think I have Al Gore beat!!

I have a scientific theory that makes more sense to me than all Al Gore’s theories do. I have concluded that this very well could be the solution to global warming. If electric bulbs suck dark, and it appears they do, they must surely suck cold too! We can shut down the carbon polluting furnaces because they won’t be needed after electric bulbs suck up all that dark and cold. We're saved!!!

For years it has been believed that electric bulbs emitted light. However recent information has proven otherwise. Electric bulbs don't emit light, they suck dark, thus we call theses bulbs "dark suckers." The dark sucker theory proves the existence of dark, that dark has mass heavier than that of light, and that dark is faster than light.

The basis of the dark sucker theory is that electric bulbs suck dark. Take, for example, the dark suckers in the room where you are. There is less dark right next to them than there is elsewhere. The larger the dark sucker, the greater it's capacity to suck dark. Dark suckers in a parking lot have a much greater capacity than the ones in this room. As with all things, dark suckers don't last forever. Once they are full of dark, they can no longer suck. This is proven by the black spot on a full dark sucker.

A candle is a primitive dark sucker. A new candle has a white wick. You will notice that after the first use the wick turns black, representing all of the dark which has been sucked into it. If you hold a pencil next to the wick of an operating candle, the tip will turn black because it got in the way of the dark flowing in to the candle. Unfortunately these primitive dark suckers have a very limited range. There are also portable dark suckers. The bulbs in these can't handle all of the dark by themselves and must be either emptied or replaced before the portable dark sucker can operate again.

Dark has mass. When dark goes in to a dark sucker, friction from this mass generates heat. Thus it is not wise to touch an operating dark sucker. Candles present a special problem as the dark must travel into the solid wick instead of through glass. This generates a great amount of heat. Thus it can be very dangerous to touch an operating candle. Dark is also heavier than light. If you swim just below the surface of a lake you will see a lot of light. If you swim deeper and deeper you will notice it gets slowly darker and darker. When you reach a depth of approximately fifty feet you are in total darkness. This is because the heavier dark sinks to the bottom of the lake and the lighter light floats to the top.

The immense power of dark can be utilized to man's advantage. We can collect the dark that has settled to the bottom of the lakes and push it through turbines which generate electricity and help push dark to the ocean where it may be safely stored. Prior to turbines it was much more difficult to get dark from the rivers and lakes to the ocean. The Indians recognized this problem and tried to solve it. When on a river in a canoe traveling in the same direction as the flow of dark they paddled slowly so as not to stop the flow of dark. When traveling up against the flow of dark they paddled quickly so as to help push the dark along it's way.

Finally we must prove that dark is faster than light. If you were to stand in an illuminated room in front of a closed dark closet then slowly open the closet door you would see the light slowly enter the closet but since the dark is so fast you would not be able to see the dark leave the closet.

In conclusion, I would like to say that dark suckers make all of our lives much easier. So the next time you look at an electric bulb, remember that it is indeed a dark sucker.

OVM,
A very interesting theory you have there. I have but one question,...
You're not driving or operating any heavy equipment today are you? If so, please post where and when!

Thanks and,uh, Party on Dude!

Thanks Danny...I think? DOH Me thinks I am suffering from DTDS...Thats Delicious
Turkey
Disassociation
Syndrome

I am a weak person what can I say...*LOL*

P.S. and NO I am not driving...the world is safe........for now.

Yes but to test your theory I left all of the lights on in my home last night which sucked dark all night long. I thought that would be the end of the dark. Now the house is starting to get dark again. What am I doing wrong?

Ahh.. You have to turn the lights off for 8 hours at dawn, that way the solar energy will dissipate the accumulated dark and you can start all over collecting fresh dark at sunset.

Can I just keep a little dark? Somtimes pleasant things happen with Females when the dark hasn't been sucked out.

Rich did you go to the same party as OVM??
Wow I haven't been that tore down to carry on a conversation like that in years!!

Cheers,

Rich...you'll have to make some synthetic dark by pulling the shades tight..but when your done you can turn on a dark sucker and you'll be back to normal. Synthetic dark is enviromentally safe.

OVM,
Maybe you have read this?

A couple of scientist have come out and said that we are causing the universe to come to an end faster than ever.

With the headline in one email I received "Mankind 'shortening the universe's life'" I am now convinced that global warming is nothing compare to this - who cares about the earth when the universe will soon be gone?

Well here are a couple quotes -

"In a nutshell, the theory suggests that we change things simply by looking at them and theorists have puzzled over the implications for years."

and

"New Scientist reports a worrying new variant as the cosmologists claim that astronomers may have accidentally nudged the universe closer to its death by observing dark energy, a mysterious anti gravity force which is thought to be speeding up the expansion of the cosmos.

The damaging allegations are made by Profs Lawrence Krauss of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and James Dent of Vanderbilt University, Nashville, who suggest that by making this observation in 1998 we may have caused the cosmos to revert to an earlier state when it was more likely to end. "Incredible as it seems, our detection of the dark energy may have reduced the life-expectancy of the universe," Prof Krauss tells New Scientist."

For those who want to read it, it is here -

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/main.jhtml?xml=/earth/2007/11/21/scicosmos121.xml

I think I got to get call someone in Hollywood to do a documentary on how we are ignoring the pending doom of the universe so I can fly around the world, interview astronomers and come to the conclusion that we need a 'sight' tax on people who look at the sky for any reason.

I could win a Nobel peace prize.

You better donate to this cause or I would have to say you hate the universe.

Don't look at the moon, it will cost you $30

Greg and Ken, I think you guys are on to something or on something. Can I buy some kind of credit. Earlier tonight I was looking at the full moon coming up over the horizon. I feel so guilty. I really need to purchase some credits.

Well now is the Moon sucking dark like the sun does or is it making dark. Black holes (excuse me Jessie and Al) do not allow any dark to leave so if Ken's theory is correct the next NASA trip should explore a black hole ( Opps did it again, sorry Al and Jess) with a large halogen light to determine if the B---- H--- is truly dark.

Rich,
You touched on a great idea, let's send all of NASA to investigate - one great big space ship and everyone who works there.

Great idea, we need something new to spend our tax dollars on.

Does that mean we would be ahead in the space race again?

I guess that makes sense. You know when the sun is at the end of its dark sucking life it gets bigger. Thats because its filling up with dark.

Now here is a question for you. What is a black light then? Does this produce dark? Why does it make things glow usually white thing? Is this radiation that the black light (or WMD aka Weapons of Mass Darkness) emits? Are these products of terrorist? Should all black lights be destroyed?

Hummmmm.....
BLACK LIGHT.......Is that an oxymoron??
Or is that a light sucker when its full?

Danny

As Jimi said.."Purple Haze was in my brain.."
(Sounded more hip than sayin'.."Black light was in my eyes")

When the guy invented the bong did a black light pop up over his head?

The black light was invented and mass produced by the politicians in Washington D.C. I think I read somewhere that this all took place in a remote place in the desert called "area 51".......
The figured if they recycled "dark suckers" that were already full, and sold them as new dark suckers they could keep everyone "in the dark".....
That's how recycling got so popular.......re-selling already full "dark suckers".....
OR~~~were the dark sucker parts sent "south of the border" to be put together, and the "skilled (cheap) laborers put the dark suckers parts together backwards............hence, the black light.
Remember, some of the worlds greatest inventions were come upon by mistake!!!!!

Suds... yeah i could agree with that, or maybe they could of just reversed the polarity of the lightbulb. So instead of sucking dark it emits dark. But what i want to know is if its a WMD?
