Just did a houston,tx to dubuque,ia and got called 20mins after del to take a load back to houston.....asked if i could get some sleep first and never got called back.dispatch still rocks in my book!

After 2 very long months of being on the west side of the country, due to the fact that my emgine blew, I got a great load back to MI. I was feeling pretty hopeful. ...but as I got into MI, my beloved cat, Frenchie decided to depart the earth. I miss her dearly, she has been with me since she was a baby (9 yrs) and out here all of my 6 years of expediting. If it had not been for her I don't know how I would have made it through some of the "stuff" I have been through out here. And now, my new engine decides to dump oil everywhere. It should be under warranty, I hope. Can the crap just stop falling, please?

It seems I am not the only one going though some series of unfortunate events. Three times this week I was to go in service, three times I had to extend that. So, I am just giving it up this week and start a new Monday.
Sorry to hear about your cat. I am facing the same thing with my Lab. Just getting too old.
Seems like that's been my story the last couple of months since the move.
After my electronics got fried during the cable TV install on Tuesday, I had the utility company come out yesterday to check things on their end. That checked out with the exception of a questionable grounding pole issue. I have an electrician coming out today to trouble shoot. No call yet from the Comcast supervisor, not a surprise. At least I should have more info on hand when that call happens

Thank you, everyone. Out of all of the junk that has happened, the worst was losing my Frenchie Girl. All the other stuff is just that, "stuff". Kind of strange because I felt safe with her, she was my little guard kitty. If she heard something outside of the truck she would growl like a dog. Made me giggle every time. A piece of my heart is missing today.
