Hoping to start the week off w a load outta Mcallen been here 5 days at 9 a.m.

I am guessing the load taking you down there was a good one, and the one taking you out should be a good one as well.. translation. ....2 good weeks in a row given the current state of economy in this business..imo.. .I never expect to get out of there immediately. .even though it would be nice..a nice load with good rate and miles are nice and worth waiting for out of there. .I think so..

Plus long holiday weekends do not bring the greatest amount of freight opportunities.....But one never knows in the casino of expedite.

A good rate out of texas could take what 10 or 11 days. Your not making anything sitting.

Depending on the person it costs at least 15.00 to 30 bucks a day to sit if you have the AC running....sitting has a cost as well....figure that into a spreadsheet?....

And for every hot dog you don't cut in half the cost goes up.
