Global Warming, THE SKY IS FALLING

But Greg... don't forget AlGore's profiting from this like so many EU bigwigs AND Kofi Anan did from oil for food program (while dragging their feet on weapons inspections, I might add). That makes em bosom buddies.

4000? That's all? I was watching Military History channel today, and learned we lost 4,700 in the battles for Guam and Saipan combined. Seems not only our country, but all western civ countries, have lost the stomach for war. That 4000 will stick in ppls heads as a reason to stop a war; yet so few remember how many died in NYC, the Pentagon, and PA on September 11, 2001.

Don't forget who we're dealing with, when you go to pull the lever for Obamalamadingdong. The ppl we're fighting would just assume pizz on your bones as negotiate with an infidel.

Funny how things relate... two ppl who live their lives based on myths... Extremist Muslims and their 72 virgins; and ignorant Westerners and the belief we're destroying the Earth. The other funny thing is that the leaders of both are profiting from those myths.

Yea, your right..... people living their lives on myths...... liberals and democrats..... any way you look at them.... they seem to be a mix of fascist and socialist.....living in a dream world....u t o p i a.......

Oh by the way, there is a new thing that I am hearing now. Some german greenie group has been complaining over the number of electric motors running, like for water pumps to keep the water levels low on the rivers in europe. Apparently they create Ozone and Ozone is a pollutant so there may be a cap and trade on KWs soon because of Ozone.

Yo NOW!!! I take an exception to be called an Ignorant Westerner ....AND what do tell happens IF it's proved your wrong? Who's ignorant then....you guys....And just what makes you's an authority on climate change pertell? You think we can dump trash into our oceans and garbage into the air and there be no consequences? Now thats ignorant!! Ever seen what acid rain does to the west side of a tree?? It's dead!!!
I am not an extremist on this global warming BUT I do believe that there is some damage and mother earth will have to repair herself in time...And many million years ago we didn't have to clean up our mess because there was no one around to pee in the pool or spit into the wind.. Yeah Turtle you say in some ways we've even help clean the earth...sewer system and water treatment...yeah we were cleaning up after ourselves.

OVM... we're not talking about pollution. I think everyone agrees pollution (litter, acid rain, dumping in rivers and oceans) is a bad thing. But to say we're destroying the Earth by simply LIVING? That's where the ignorance comes in. Sheeple follow everything that's said by the ones spouting this drivel; and are blind to the fact that it's all a money and power grab. Do some research on Maurice Strong, and his involvement in oil for food, environmentalist studies, etc. And see how much he profited from being the right hand man for Kofi Annan.

Also, don't you find it strange that everything we can do to help in the environmentalist movement is being blocked by the same ppl preaching the crap? Nuclear energy comes to mind. It's not environmentalism they want, it's man reverting back to the stone age. They want NO progress!

While I'm on blocking solutions to what ails us, the same thing can be said with the oil crisis and our inability to build refineries and drill our own oil. It's all related. These ppl do not want us to succeed.

But how can you take me seriously, when I have a puppet for an avatar? :D

Hawk said.." But to say we're destroying the Earth by simply LIVING? That's where the ignorance comes in. "

Landfill...Love Canal comes to mind for 1 example. A disater that happened by simply living and by ignorance.

I can see where ya coming from with the green people making a living off this issue...and on the flip side of the coin there is people making a living for opposing them...all on the taxpayers bill...

The puppet just adds to your online alluring charm!...*L*

OVM,
There is no excuse not to take care of the earth, but here is the problem;

being realistic is one thing but with things like the koyoto treaty, the cap and trade cr*p in congress and other things that will slow down the economy if not stop it. When we have depression type conditions, we revert back to survival instead of stewardship.

Our ability to change and clean our own environment has only been done because we have had a growing economy.

What is offensive, to me at least is hearing some of the people being ignorant and think that we have been the only cause for these changes on earth. We are not and can't be.

NASA and NOAA with a few universities are now discovering and studying the serious warming on planets like Mars and Jupiter, which means that the SUN is ramping up through another expansion cycle. Like the 11 year sunspot cycles, the solar cycle of expansion and contraction of the sun takes place on either a 41,000 year cycle or a 100,000 year cycle with little growth and retraction cycles taking place in between.

So my contention is that global warming people refuse to include the sun in any discussion, they want to present a united front that the sun is a static entity instead of a living thing.

I for one believe the climate is changing...probably was even before the GREEN noticed it..

Of course the Earth's climate is changing. It has been since day ONE. If not for global warming, my house would be sitting on a 10 mile thick chunk of ice. OVM your place out in South Dakota would be over run with dinosaurs and there would be no oil if not for climate change.

Man doesn't have the power to change the Earth's climate like some would have you believe. Sure we can muck up a small piece of real estate like 3 Mile or Chernobal. But life goes on. And so does climate change.

Manhattan Declaration on Climate Change

"Global warming" is not a global crisis
We, the scientists and researchers in climate and related fields, economists, policymakers, and business leaders, assembled at Times Square, New York City, participating in the 2008 International Conference on Climate Change,
Resolving that scientific questions should be evaluated solely by the scientific method;
Affirming that global climate has always changed and always will, independent of the actions of humans, and that carbon dioxide (CO2) is not a pollutant but rather a necessity for all life;
Recognising that the causes and extent of recently observed climatic change are the subject of intense debates in the climate science community and that oft-repeated assertions of a supposed 'consensus' among climate experts are false;
Affirming that attempts by governments to legislate costly regulations on industry and individual citizens to encourage CO2 emission reduction will slow development while having no appreciable impact on the future trajectory of global climate change. Such policies will markedly diminish future prosperity and so reduce the ability of societies to adapt to inevitable climate change, thereby increasing, not decreasing, human suffering;
Noting that warmer weather is generally less harmful to life on Earth than colder:
Hereby declare:
That current plans to restrict anthropogenic CO2 emissions are a dangerous misallocation of intellectual capital and resources that should be dedicated to solving humanity's real and serious problems.
That there is no convincing evidence that CO2 emissions from modern industrial activity has in the past, is now, or will in the future cause catastrophic climate change.
That attempts by governments to inflict taxes and costly regulations on industry and individual citizens with the aim of reducing emissions of CO2 will pointlessly curtail the prosperity of the West and progress of developing nations without affecting climate.
That adaptation as needed is massively more cost-effective than any attempted mitigation and that a focus on such mitigation will divert the attention and resources of governments away from addressing the real problems of their peoples.
That human-caused climate change is not a global crisis.
Now, therefore, we recommend --
That world leaders reject the views expressed by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as well as popular, but misguided works such as "An Inconvenient Truth."
That all taxes, regulations, and other interventions intended to reduce emissions of CO2 be abandoned forthwith.
Agreed at New York, 4 March 2008

Who are you going to believe? Some pointy headed scientists or a former vice-president and the inventor of the internet and his Hollywood friends?

Don't forget the caribou etc. like the warmth from the pipeline and procreate more and it actually builds the herds. We can't have the green lunatics letting that kind of info out though.

Bears like it too
