Fox & Dominion Statements

Fox Corp. just released a statement: “We are pleased to have reached a settlement of our dispute with Dominion Voting Systems. We acknowledge the court’s rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false. This settlement reflects Fox’s continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards. We are hopeful that our decision to resolve this dispute with Dominion amicably, instead of the acrimony of a divisive trial, allows the country to move forward from these issues.”

The truth matters,” said Dominion lawyer Justin Nelson. “Lies have consequences.”

No the bigger team of lawyers won.....
Poor, weak Fox could not afford lawyers? Fox came to court with lawyers whose offices are in strip malls? Fox hired just one or two lawyers because they wanted to save money? Fox hired Sydney Powell and Rudy Giuliani to represent them? Nope. None of that.

Fox settled this case not because their legal team was under powered or under-skilled; but because they defamed Dominion. Fox is a multi-billion-dollar corporation. You can be sure they had all the top-notch lawyers they needed to represent them on this case. The simple truth is they settled because their case was weak and Dominion's was strong.

If you have a weak case and good lawyers, you can sometimes win if the other side has poor lawyers or insufficient resources to press the case. But if you have a weak case and good lawyers, and the other side has a strong case and good lawyers; the probabilities favor the side with the strong case.

By the way, no judge and no jury decided this case. Fox chose to settle to keep their weak case from being heard by a jury, and to keep their TV personalities from being further tarnished by the facts. They knew their case was weak and they cut their losses by settling.

Dominion had a weak case, but the Obama judge put his weight on the scale for them with his rulings.
Plus, they knew that this jury was selected from a deep blue voting area, Delaware. The jury consisted with people who watch CNN and MSNBC, so they get a steady diet of “news” propaganda and already hate Fox with a passion. They were willing to stick it to them by siding with Dominion. It’s as simple as that.

Owner Rupert Murdoch is 92 years old and didn’t want to testify. Didn’t want to put his company through a long drawn out trial. He ordered his lawyers to get the best possible settlement deal and just move on.

From a business standpoint, they made way more money from promoting the lie, so make a settlement and move on, they are still way better off without all of the dirty laundry getting aired out in court. If they truly thought they did nothing wrong then they would have went to court and given their side of the story.

The concentration of wealth continues....

Forgot about the other lawsuit from Smartmatic. They want even more and a full retraction, going to be interesting how this one turns out.

Doesn't matter that they did nothing wrong. Their side of the story wouldn't sway the Leftists on the jury eager to lap up whatever Dominion has to say. This way they save over 800 million and move on.
